I was just leaving them in the planters actually, but I think removing the soil and washing the root ball is the best thing to do, that way as it dries, it can exchange what energy it has in it's roots to help boost the terpenes.
I trim all my plants this way, makes it easier, I think. Also, I've started hacking most of the outter roots, then washing down the root ball and removing all the soil, then I hang the entire plant, root ball and all, at least the majority of it. Makes a big difference in taste, IMO.Looks like some nice heavy buds! Was it fun trimming it while still in the pot?
