Yea it did help thank youI agree with G420Uk above, it's all about controlling the environment. You are basically playing god to the plants and deciding when the sun shines, wind blows, rain falls,.. etc. A tent is a convenient and (sometimes!lol) portable way to create a light-proof, enclosed area that you can then use to house your environment. Before tents, growers used to make their own grow spaces,. there used to be loads of threads on here about desiging a diy grow space, when this place first opened. Another benefit of a tent is that it's reflective on the inside, so it uses your light more efficiently. Before tents, growers used Mylar, or painted the walls of their space white,. Basically, a tent is a ready designed, convenient solution to creating an area to house your grow. But it's not necessary :)
I hope that helped, lol,.. :)
Is there ever to much light I'm using a 1200w,1500w,and 1000w L. E. Ds for 2 plantsYea it did help thank you
I figured it will help the stretch and bush and grow tallIs there ever to much light I'm using a 1200w,1500w,and 1000w L. E. Ds for 2 plants
Same here mate never used leds always used hps lamps sorryI've never used Led's so I can't really give you any advice regarding them bro. But yes, you can have too much light/too intense light for sure. Especially when the plants are young,. I've got a 1000w adjustable HPS, thats goes up to 1200w, but it would often be only on 850w, because if it was turned up for too long it would wash out the tips of my girls.
What temp will you be drying at?Sweet man don’t sound too difficult lol and yeah about drying and curing my plan is to hang my buds upside down in the tent with the exhaust fan on leave all sugar leaves and a few fan leaves on so it drys slower hang for 7-10 day with a RH of 50-60% then into mason jars to cure and make sure the jars are burped daily hope this works out ok for me unless you got any other tips or pointers ?
I have a hps with a 1000 w bulb I Tryed it once but it burned the plants real bad I just jumped right into this stuff wit no real guidance I I bought a few clones and spent a few thousand on lights and just went from there if u can give me the proper way of using that light (hps) I'll be thankfulSame here mate never used leds always used hps lamps sorry
About 21 degrees room temp with exhaust fan onWhat temp will you be drying at?
That should work out well for you.About 21 degrees room temp with exhaust fan on
I got 2 600w hps and they been on since seedling just got to keep the light a far distance away so the plant don’t get burnt I would say 2 foot at least in seedling stageI have a hps with a 1000 w bulb I Tryed it once but it burned the plants real bad I just jumped right into this stuff wit no real guidance I I bought a few clones and spent a few thousand on lights and just went from there if u can give me the proper way of using that light (hps) I'll be thankful
Hope so I’m going to slow dry it all :)That should work out well for you.
A 1000w light should be kept at least 24” above the canopy. You may be able to get closer, depending on how much cooling you have in your environment. If you see micro new growth, you’re still too close. You can also try the hand test. Hold the back of your hand at canopy level and if it’s uncomfortably warm, move the light up.I have a hps with a 1000 w bulb I Tryed it once but it burned the plants real bad I just jumped right into this stuff wit no real guidance I I bought a few clones and spent a few thousand on lights and just went from there if u can give me the proper way of using that light (hps) I'll be thankful
OK I'm going to put my small ones up under it and finish the ones in buding under the L. E. Ds or do u think I should put the big ones under the hps to finish floweringI got 2 600w hps and they been on since seedling just got to keep the light a far distance away so the plant don’t get burnt I would say 2 foot at least in seedling stage
