Anyway yesterday I did a nice flush w/
Clearex at about 15 ml per gal and changed the res so that was officially the start of the 3rd week. By next Tuesday we should have some nice buds startin ta set in ladies and gentleman, I cant freakin wait! These girls start off so damn slow but when week 5 hits they go into freakin warp speed overdrive mode! Pretty much all the bud mass is packed on durin week 5 and 6, and theyre ready by day 52! Its really wierd, I dont think Ive ever run anything else that grows like that.
I def needed that flush, 6 gal of RO plus 80 mils of
Clearex gave me about 250 PPM. I hooked up a length of tubing to my pump and used it like a watering wand to rinse out the RW from the top. I hit em w/that for about 15 mins or so, then flooded the tray for another half an hour. My PPMs finally stopped rising at 1015! Yall think that coulda been behind that little deficiency, just maybe???
So as of yesterday my res consists of Connie A&B, Mother Earth Tea, B-52, SensiZyme,
Bud Candy, Piranha, Tarantula, and Voodoo, and
Big Bud. Im also usin Bud Factor X and Rhino Skin at 8 ml per gallon. After week 1 I cut out the
Bud Blood which worked extremely well. According to the feeding schedule youre supposed ta cut out the beneficials after week 2 because they should already have an established population. But since I didnt use em during veg and my PH dropped slightly below 5 at one point, I went ahead and used the last lil bit I had left for good measure. I picked up a natural loofa and slide an airstone inside of it and put it in the res. Supposedly the beneficials will make that their new home instead of makin the walls of your res all slimey! I also threw a little 150 GPH pump in the res too ta keep the nutes nice and mixed up, I was noticing that the water in towards the bottom was tending to be a darker color than the rest of it and I dont like that!
So my PPMs are at about 1150 right now, theyre supposed ta peak at 1200 over week 4 & 5 but I think Im gonna push em to 1300 maybe 1350. My other Chocolope phenos could really gobble up the nutes and this one's not showin any sign of tip burn or anything at all so I think she'll be able ta take it no prob. Plus Im using the light feeding schedule and her leaves arent as dark as they should be IMO.
Not much happenin to photograph yet but Ill try ta throw up some pics tonight or tomorrow for shits n giggles. We still got a lil stretch goin on, so Im gonna have ta raise the lights a hair and thatll probably be where they stay. I just got a helluva deal on a Lumatek w/a Sun Spot 6 and a 250 cfm inline so I think Im gonna get this huge ass Radiant hood outta there and add the Sun Spot ta make some room for another fan or two. Theres bout ta be lots of buds in this little ass tent and I need as much airflow as possible! I think Im gonna use that 250 for an intake, anybody know if that would be bringin in too much air for a Vortex 450cfm ta handle? I know if the intake is bringin in more than the exhause can handle things will start to get stinky! I got it set up exhaust, hood, hood, Odor Sok all in one line. Its about 6 feet of distance between my Vortex and the carbon filter, including both hoods w/one 90 degree turn and the filter is rated for 296cfm I think, if that even matters? Where's all the HVAC gurus at???
