She looks a bit better today mate! I'm not to familiar with bone meal, I just used miracle grow in a spray bottle and foil fed them each day (1/2 recommended strength for the first two weeks). Also every few days I sat them into a dish of water for a few minutes to soak it up through the bottom of the pot/container.Here she is from today.. Definitely healing on her own and bouncing back rather quickly.. Just giving her water from the sink that I leave out for 24 hrs to try and get rid of them chemicals or salt.. @Basic Buds should I throw a tab bit of bone meal on her?
Thanks mate.. So is that what the term "foliage" feed them is from or for?She looks a bit better today mate! But by all means if bone meal works go for it! It might end up with better results
And even if they don't rot, chances are those little pistils turn brown or get burned before the actual harvest time. That's what I experienced, even when only spraying them just a bit in flower. Also I've stopped spraying them too much because it seems like chlorophyl can be washed out of the leaves which gives you strange spots on leaves. I think spraying is good as long as you don't over do it. Or maybe I was just doing sth wrong, like spraying with the lights still running...It means you are feeding them by spraying the plant instead of a watering the soil. The plant soaks in the spray through the leafs. You can do that until it starts to bud, then I recommend stopping or your buds will rot.
Dude!!! That explains why a cola on one of mine turned brown and died off!! I couldn't work it out and so I cut it off completely just yesterday. It happened a while ago but never recovered fully. I think now, its just best not to foil feed once you switch to flowering.. But for clones, they love it! And kind of depend on it, given they are only starting to produce roots. And even if they don't rot, chances are those little pistils turn brown or get burned before the actual harvest time. Aww.. Man, sorry to hear that! But yeah, could be the reason. Never had an entire bud dying off from spraying though so I'm not sure about that... But yeah, I do spray seedlings as well and they really seem to like it. I just take care not to get bigger drops on the leaves and the way I spray them is more like fogging than actually getting them entirely wet.Dude!!! Well, as I sucked up my blueberry in the cup with my vac some days ago (stupid me), I had to pop a new one. Germinated it with the wet towel method and after the root was about 1cm long, I dropped it into the soil yesterday. It's still hiding under the surface but as soon as it shows up, I'll do some updates with pictures. Hopefully I won't suck that one up as well.. Ooops...@Ooopsi you got any babies growing? I can't remember
Ohhh no way, sorry to hear that dude.. My damn dog knocked my new baby over last night but she's good lol.. Hey there @CharmCity915 :)@Vggir what do you have growing on lol
I like your choice on buckets alsoHere's a picture the day before using Nano Breathe, 6 days ago now :)
I got it last October, and I love them! I may have to choose between the Led and the T5 this summer, because I have no way of cooling the room I grow in. In October my temps got up to 88degrees, so it will probably get even hotter in July, and August. I love the density I get from the T5HO, but the frost just isn't up to par, I don't know how the Leds do by themself, but have seen complaints about the lack of density of the buds from leds. Anyway, lol! Sorry for the rant :)That's bad ass.. I like the LED's.. How long have you been using the lighting?
Oh no its cool.. I love to hear what everyone has to say.. I almost jumped to LEDS but I went with the HPS light and hood. I am still gonna throw some CFLs in their also.. They are what im using now but its not intense enough though on its own for me atleast.. I'm finishing the box its going in so I'll post pics tomorrow morning.. Yea I will have to change some stuff up when closer to summer alsoI got it last October, and I love them!
