im not sure about a 16 gallon but thinking tou meant 13 i seen my buddys 13 gal setup and was impressed i ave decent size ceilings so figured go big or go home are you using one for veg and one for flower or both being used for veg/flower how far are you spacing them, ceiling height i read a post from a premium farmer on here who said that he liked the smaller ones cause of less water and easir to maintain but if you have the room to get the igger ones i would

Thanks for the replies I didn't mean to side track you I just must have got excited seeing a great grow going similar to the setup I am getting ready to order, the more I see on here 13 gallons must be the way to go and 30 inches on center may even not be enough. I am just looking for a new challenge and this should be it. I just set up two 4x4 trays to start my clones out in, then will switch to the 13 gallons for a few more weeks of veg before flowering. I just wanted to have 2 separate system to try a michigan based company Ionics line in one system and CS in the other one.

Ya i was doing that also and was having issues like that. I now only use my top off and just take a few gals out of the system so the top off can re fill what i took out. I usually cut the valve for a hour until the mix is pretty good and then let it refill back what i took out. Also once my top off starts to rise to about 500 ppms i fill back with plain r/o and ph and add uc roots and go from there. Idk i am still green to this but i am starting to get the hang of this. Hope this helps

What up RI420PATIENT!! I haven't been logged on in a while but happen to pop on and saw your thread. Looking real nice! nice setup too, you put the time in and it shows. Anyway thought I might beable to help you out a little bit. The spotting on your leaves above IMO is from the ph being to high for to long of a time, most likely manganese getting locked out. Try to stay on the ph rise and keep it from going above 6.2 if possible.(PH rise is nothing but a good sign) floating 5.5-6.1 really works well for me in veg. Also I noticed the water level in your buckets is a little high for the amount of root growth you have at this point. Try dropping the water level 2-3 inches below the bottom of the net pot, that should help stand the leaves up straight and take the slight wrinkle out of them. Hope this helps, Plants are looking sick! Keep it up the good, and stay on the cultured solutions! Awesome product

The pruning looks really good so far... id stick to only VERY bottom suckers and the very top most largest leaves from now on.... Probibly start doing it 3-4 more times starting in about 5ish days from where you are now.

Looks killer man, keep up the good show.

No problem bro! I was wondering, are you using a sub barrel? sub res connected to the float valve in the epicenter is a good way to keep ppms up and help with ph fluctuation. I like to keep my barrel ppm the same as the system with my ph around 5.7-5.8. as you transition into flower those girls will drink close to a gallon a day sometimes more, ph-ing your system several times a day is not good IMO, also pouring nutrients directly into epi without diluting can be harmful in some situations, using a barrel or sub res will free up alot of your time and the plants will be much happier if the water level, ph, and ppm don't fluctuate so drastically.

I would definetly do some pruning of the canopy, you got the right idea there. There is a great thread on ISA pruning at the top of the Under Current threads. Interference leaves should be your biggest concern. anything blocking light from getting to buds just below the main canopy should be removed during weeks 3-4 of flower. Check out desert squirels threads he is the man when it comes to getting the most out of the UC.

Nothing against Quantum9 I'm just not familiar with this farmer. I'm sure they got mad skills!

Yes I am on the east coast! I might be closer than you think ;) 401 for life!

Peace Med
