yea, I'm pretty lucky. I wanted to just settle and grab and apartment or a townhouse but my boyfriend insisted on finding a house. It was very time consuming and we got very lucky because our credit is not great. We found a 2 bedroom house!

I saw your log too, Casper. You do excellent with the space you have.

Aww shucks, thanks pandor. Looks like we are both heading into the fun part of the process.

Hello Pandor.

Just caught up with your thread, sporry for being quiet these days been crazy hectic in these parts recently.

WOW! Looking good in that lil space eh? Nice. I'm a bit concerned with the fact that your netting is loose like that. Was/is that intentional cause I'm thinking the idea is to have support up high were the majority of the bud sites are. Also are you going to lollipop them? How far along are we now(what day)?

Today is day 14 of flower with the ScroG.

Just the other day I trimmed off all the garbage that did not make it to the screen.

More pics very soon, tonight is not a good night for that.

As for the looseness of the screen, I guess that is just laziness on our (bf and I) parts. Bf is so ridiculously uncoordinated around the house. I wanted to build a better screen, but I got no help from him what so ever and I was on an 11 day juice fast at the time. So I made do with what I had. Tied up all the large holes on the screen I bought, made it as tight as possible, and I actually tie fishing weights on the parts that are pushing up. It's not the best ScroG ever, but it is working. As soon as my dad comes back from his vacation, I will have him help me build a proper screen for next time around.

Oh I see and thx for the update. Well in that case, the only way to go is up. :) It should be interesting to see. We can call it an experiment lol. My only concern is that it actually damages the bud and/or resin glands if the string happens to touch it.

got alot going on in there, but you still have space to work with, which I am lacking and once the space is gone then the chores get a little harder. thats just my opinion but then again Im running hydro so more factors that can o wrong. looks good thou with all that extra space you have some good experiment room!!!

Yea, I guess you could say I am experimenting right now. I already know that plants in flower need plenty of light. I also knew that I was not going to need doubles of my seedling in the veg area.

My experiment was to put my extra seedlings in the middle ground between the 2 LED lights in the tent. Thinking, "The lights are supposed to cover a 4x4 area and there are 2 lights and the tent is 4x8. I can probably shove 3 extra plants in the middle ground between the 2 lights, and get extra flowers."

Well these plants are not looking great. They are stretching at an angle toward the light and just seem to be behind the SoG clones in growth and vigor. So now I need to fix this. The easiest thing would be to buy another LED. Not financially possible. I want to stick a T5 in there, but as of right now I am working on getting the humidity just right in there first. I want everything perfect, or as close to it as possible. I've added an intake fan and so far the humidity seems good. So I may be adding more light to the tent soon.

These pictures were taken yesterday. So at that point we were at day 25 for the ScroG, and day 15 for the SoG.

You will be able to notice in the following pictures what I had described previously as a lack of growth and vigor in the 3 plants that are shown in larger pots sitting slightly outside of the SoG area, yet not in the ScroG. These plants are in the middle land where there is just not enough light. In the following pictures, the light has been raised a little, and they are getting a little more than they were getting, but at the expense of the SoG plants losing light. And besides, it's still just not enough light.

New idea/experiment. Considering changing the T5 veg area in to another flowering area. I may just buy a few cheap tube lights from walmart or something and throw those in a closet, clip a few clones and throw the clones in the closet, then flower the 3 mothers and the other 3 from the tent under the T5.

Ideally I would love to have just another LED in the middle of the tent, but as previously mentioned, that is just not an option right now due to my finances.

I do have a backup of seeds that I ordered. Northern Lights, Iced Grapefruit, and Big Bud White Widow Cross (on the seed package it is merely called BBWW). So I will have clones I clipped and some new seedlings started in a little closet I have......maybe......will keep you all updated.

Thanks for tuning in. Questions, comments, and suggestions are always welcome.

hmmmm, how high are the fixtures from the canopy>? I think this might be the issue with the stretching.

Aprox 18 inches from canopy. I had them at 12 and I saw what I thought was leaf bleaching. There are definitely stretching issues, but I figured this was better than the bleaching.

All of the SoG small plants were not growing the way I had hoped. The were all forming small branches and bud sites along the bottoms and they were bushing out too much in to each other. It looked like this was causing stress to the plants. I clipped some of the lower branches off to allow the plants to devote all of their energy to the top cola. I hope the clipping does not stress the plants as well. You will be able to see this in my next group of pictures which should be posted in a few days.

As far as those "experimental" plants that I had shoved in the middle of the tent, they were not looking good. They were much bigger than the SoG plants when they went in, and now the little plants have passed them in every way. So finally yesterday I made a decision. I pulled the extra plants out of the tent and turned my veg area in to another 12/12. Granted it is only a T5, so I am not sure what I will be getting, but I am sure it will be way better than what was going on in that tent. I decided to skip taking clippings, and for my next grow, I will either get more clones from my friend or start from seed.

seeds don't fair well under led's (magnums)

GOOD TO HEAR BOUT YOUR NEW VEG AREA, opps sorry 4 caps lol/ did you try magical or cal mag ... maybe magnesium or calcium deficiencyand not bleaching. bleaching turns leaves white. cal/mag def. turn leaves yellow then crispy dead.

and these.....
I am not too confident about flowering under a fluorescent.
I am just breaking the stems as they grow in to the light.
The sativa strains, Church and Super Lemon Haze, are growing right in to it, while the white rhino remains short and bushy.

flowering under a fluorescent is a definite bad idea. You get barely any penetration threw the canopy of the plants and the spectrum is wrong. You would usually use t5's for veg. Is this an experiment?

I did not want any mothers. The T5 was supposed to hold my mothers. My friend just gives me clones now. All those extra plants are serving no purpose. I also have a back up of seeds that I can't wait to start. Originally it was an experiment when I had them in the "dead zone" in the tent between the 2 LEDs. I was not happy with that and just put them under the T5.

oh and BTW, ideally, the T5 could have been in the tent with the LEDs just filling in the middle with extra light. Unfortunately, it's a piece of shit tent and I worry about all the weight of the extra light. I can't risk all of my lights falling. So this is how we end up with a bunch of plants flowering in a veg area.

are they on the same schedule as the previous led tent? I'm concerned that this might reverse the plants and hermie them.
