So, one of these girls is starting to definitely stand out above the rest. It's got a beautiful sweet smell and it's developing much more substantial buds already, along with getting frosty. The way my attitude has gotten about this shit I have to admit that I was half tempted to just toss the other two and save myself the work dealing with the lesser stuff and make room for stuff that's coming up. Half.
Like I said 'half' tempted. LOL!Toss? To be clear i only chopped the NL down cause i had 3 other NL doing fine and i was over my plant count. So i figured wth.
It looks like you got some nuggage goin on those, try to balance em out and give em a lil more attn. But, totally up to you, go with your heart. :love2:
Lol you indecisive old codger, stop fantasizing about killing and murdering poor defensless plants!Like I said 'half' tempted. LOL!
I hear this alot, ive heard growers claim sometimes their weakest seedlings, which they almost chuck, ends up producing the most, or the bombest. Since hearing this, ive adopted the, "dont knock it til ya try it!" method.U might end up being surprised by which one produces the best. Looks can be deceiving. I am often surprised by which kne performs the best. Cant judge till u got the facts.
No doubt about it but, at this stage, and having grown seven of these from seed already, I have some idea of what to expect from them. Honestly I haven't been terribly impressed by the Kandy, other than the one freebie seed I got way back, hopefully these will be better, I'm doing things a little differently than I was last time I grew them. That one is the only one that seems really healthy, not having weird stuff going on, and taking the nutrients well. But, I'm aware that I may still be surprised, it wouldn't be the first time, again, that's why I said only half tempted. LOL And I love pleasant surprises!I hear this alot, ive heard growers claim sometimes their weakest seedlings, which they almost chuck, ends up producing the most, or the bombest. Respect.
Hey @Papa Indica really like to see the show. I got some Kandy stated be nice to learn specific to ( pheno) what I got goin and learn. And papa most likely meansOK, so I'm gonna see if I can get a thread going with some pics. I've got some Kandy Kush going, unforeseen circumstances have left me with only 3 at the moment but, it's just fine. Got 3 Sour Fire Lost beans popped that'll be coming along shortly, and I'll be popping 3 more of something else pretty soon. Some of you know about my situation with my disability and some do not. I like to keep my numbers down and it's best for me to have staggered harvests.
Here's some pics of my Kandy's getting to where they're at. View attachment 542898 View attachment 542899 View attachment 542901 View attachment 542902 View attachment 542904 View attachment 542906 View attachment 542908 View attachment 542909
I used duct tape and it worked out. I seen a mention of cut a piece of straw andslice alongside, and then it would be able to make it around the branch. Put one together for you, hope it helps @Papa Indica ☺So the other day I decided to try doing some more bending of my tops since they had bounced back up pretty well and hardened off at the first bends and were real close to the light. I went up a little past the first bends and put another in, most of them took it well but, a couple snapped on me. The first one that snapped seemed fine at first but, when I turned the plant it caught just a little on another one and snapped almost completely off, it seemed to happen very easily. The other one snapped when I tried to bend it, and that one almost came completely off too. I had seen somewhere on here that someone had said something about duct taping them, so I tried it. To my pleasant surprise it seems that they have both recovered from it.
Thanks bro. Yeah, I've tried Cal/Mag alone, tried making sure not to give it much, if any, nitrogen in it's feed, I'm wondering if maybe it could be a water issue. It's the smaller of the 3 and though they seemed to get back on the same schedule I'm wondering if maybe when the others are really dry if maybe that one hasn't been quite as dry as the others, and as I was thinking. I watered/fed the other two yesterday and had to let that one go, I was gonna do it today but, where I'm more conscious of something going on, when I checked it I decided to let it go another day so, now I'm thinking it could be a watering issue where I didn't think it could be before. The clawing is everywhere but, only the small, newer growth stuff that's in close to the bud sites. Come to think of it, one of the others has a little bit of it happening and there's no way that one is getting over-watered, so now I'm lost again, we'll see what happens I guess. It's had plenty of light, so I don't think that would be it.i get the dreaded "claw" on plants from time to time, black rose was the worst bitch ever for that shit.i just quit trying to fix it and make sure your ph is in check .some of these newer strains these days are just more common with shit like the claw of 3 leaf fans, even purple stems.what kind of soil/media do you run papa ?im in promix/peat based so first thing i might try is just one watering of calmag only,no other nutes, about 300ppm or .6 to .7 ec and roll back with your normal feeds the next day.but like i said if its just a few leaves down low and the plant seems fine otherwise i would not worry about it.if it is just down low away from the lights it might just be how that strain deals with a lack of light, and those clawed leaves will fall off soon enough.
but calmag can be your best friend with a 1 time app on alot of small issues like this.calcium helps to loosen salt build up in soils.good luck bro.peace
Honestly, I've never really seen any real pH problems so I've never messed with it but, lately I've been thinking that I need to get a pH pen and start measuring. That's the very next thing on my list.Ok if your into making tea then hit her with tea and check runoff a few times to see where shes at ph wise.but one of my fav smokes is my stone free which is just a chem/og and she claws alot on me
I just try to keep better tabs on ph with that strain and when it gets lower than 6.0 in the runoff it always shows that damn claw.when that happens i will adjust my nutes to 7.0 a few days in a row and that helps .but once it starts it dont totally go away
Plants still yield good though.
They're damn expensive! I may go that way, I don't know, I'd have to wait until after Christmas.Pops i highly recommend one of these pal. They last forever and u can trust emView attachment 548974View attachment 548975

That leaf screams flowmasterNot a great pic, and I don't have a lot of this but, I'm seeing a little on a couple of them. What does this leaf say to you?View attachment 548978
