Ya for sure. Even just a couple lbs is too much with the jars.
I’ve always used totes for my outdoor but I know it’s not super air tight and wouldn’t want to do my indoor thag way. Don’t know why I didn’t think about the gammas before. Shit I live got like 5 dog food containers that have them and the food stays fresh for days!

Protein tubs. I figure they're free and they're food safe. Lightproof too.

yeah man way easier to burn 6 or 7 buckets then it is to do 50-60 jars, plus theres usually more air in the buckets if ya dont fill em so hey dont need to be done as often

I have access to pre-98 Bubba, I'll probably try to grab it.

I didn't mean to put you on the spot, I just don't have a reference for what good tasting meds are.

The best I've had that I can recall is Forum cookies. This seafour cross I have is no slouch. I told him if he ever names the strain it should be called "The GOAT (The Grapest Of All Time)" Purple, Sticky, heavy, sickeningly sweet fruit juice type smell, it's like grape glucose, very clean taste. Some coffee/chocolate in the exhale.

I have gelato 33 coming up next round, so I'll get to have a lot of time with that.

Hell yeah, I'd grab it.
It's all good, only problem is it seems my mind has turned to mush these days, fucking disease beating me down, I don't know my ass from my elbow half the time anymore from what I can tell...
Looks great man!

We had 5°F (-15°C) two nights ago and I don't think it can get any colder around here. But -14°F is a bit too much

I'm not sure if this I should Kosher or not, I'm a hack farmer. But I put them in the large mason jars (9" tall-ish) and put the lids and screw top on, but don't screw down tight. So the lid is basically sitting on the jar. It can't fall off, but it's not sealed tight, know what I mean?

I store the jar upright and it will burp itself as the humidity leaves. I can check on them less often this way. U need the two part metal lids though.

Back in the day, when I was working with my father in-law doing marine fabrication, I found myself working in some pretty crazy conditions, days or nights when -14 would've looked pretty good.
I remember one day in particular when we were working all day and into the night getting a boat rigged up to go shrimping, we had built the entire set-up, the gallast frames, net reel, outriggers, mast and boom, etc. and we were getting it all put together. They needed to be ready for opening day and we had to get it done regardless of weather, they were right there with us too though of course.
I don't remember exactly what the temp was but, well below zero and stormy as hell, wind was blowing like mad and we had freezing rain coming down on us. One of the best parts was having to stand on the narrow washboard that was all iced over lifting heavy ass parts into place without dropping them and yourself over the side.
When you're working in conditions like that it's really just a matter of keeping yourself busy and moving, at one point I even had my coat off and working in just my sweatshirt with no gloves, if I had slowed down at all I would've been pretty damn cold pretty damn quick.
I had lots of fun adventures in those days, lol. Ahhh, the good ol' days.
