Check under your leafs for bugs, after a transplant they will be slightly shocked for a few days when they are that small all I feed is water to molasses shouldn't even be fed until flowering i wouldnt give it any nutes yet and I would advise you use fox farm ocean forest soil it will hold your ph stable and already has nutes in it to get it started
out of curiosity how do you get bugs in a garden? I have done both outdoors & indoors, I saw a lot of those bugs at the beginning of the season, but in June when I start placing them outside, I harvest them in Oct with no bugs, even heard they got bugs in indoor gardens, never got them inside during the summer either, must be their location I'm out in the midwest,

I'm currently on day 18 of my first grow. I'm growing 2 Hindu Kush and 1 Northern Lights. I started in plastic cups but the Hindu Kush plants became root bound so I transferred all of the plants 3 days ago to 5 gallon pots. My plants look quite healthy but the problem I have is that they don't seem to have got any taller in the last week. If you look at the close up photos you'll see that the Hindu Kush plants have a whole bunch of nodes in the same place which I can't understand. Also, the Northern Lights plant seems so small compared to the others even though this is also an Indica strain. What am I doing wrong? I was thinking that I might need to top the two Hindu Kush plants because this is causing the problem with the node bunching but aren't they a little small to be topped now?

I'm using a Mars Hydro FC-E4800 at 24" and 50% power. 18 and 6 hours. The temperature and RH is constantly 76 to 80 Fahrenheit and 50% to 70% respectively. I've got three fans on constantly. Two oscillating fans, and a 6" Spider Farmer exhaust fan on speed 3. Everybody says it's better to underwater than overwater but I think I may have underwatered too much and this has stunted their growth? I've been using molasses and liquid seaweed to feed them and I've just given them about 2 litres of water each. I've just ordered the Fox Farm nutrients trio and some Cal Mag and they should be delivered in the next few days so I'll start using them as soon as they come. Why do my plants look like this or are they normal at this stage and I just need to be patient?
Sir
You are fine.
Everyone should know you only change 1 thing at a time
You put them in 5 gallon pots
That's 1 change
Wait 10 days
Nothing is wrong
You have a sound/good soil mix
Only follow the watering advice in this thread
Ignore everything else
Watering properly is a skill
And
Eventually, we all learn it
1 change at a time.
Wait 7 to 10 days before considering another change
Water properly of course
Good growing!

Oh and raise your light 6" to 12" and crank that light to 100%
Let's grow!!

I'm in northern Cali and we need to do alot of ipm spraying or else you will get something usual suspects are aphids and silk worms the silk worms are moths that lay eggs then when you go to harvest your buds you crack one open and its rotted from the inside with a worm that had been eating it it's all bad

Yes I'm definitely going to grow all the same plants. I'm thinking Royal Moby or Critical strains because they have good genetics and they're high yielders. What do you think about those strains?

I'm not a fan of critical crosses tho, they tend to stretch a lot, great for greenhouses/outdoor
That Royal Moby is very sativa leaning and I think it's a big stretcher too.
I like heavy indicas or balanced hybrids best for indoor, but that's me ;-)

I prefer heavy Indicas too but I've just reread this and I think there was some confusion, when I said Royal Moby or Critical "strains" I meant as in those two strains only, so "strains" in it's plural form. I didn't mean crossbred strains of those two. The original Critical strain is 60% Indica, plus it's high yielding and not too difficult to grow so it ticks all the boxes for me, Have you ever grown Critical and what do you think about it?

The royal queen seeds ones ? I never grown both you listed. go for it try them ;-)

Yeah they're from Royal Queen Seeds. They have a branch in Bangkok and they're a reputable company so their seeds should be good over here too. I don't think it's a good idea to grow the Royal Moby strain in a 4x4 tent because they stretch a lot and can get very tall?

I am going to throw it out here again. If you are vegging, 440ppfd is great. If you’re flowering it would be best to increase that to 900ppfd for good yields and growth in flower. I think everyone skipped over this fact on you and it will directly impact how much your plants eat. Low light can cause you to over water. So be mindful that the amount of light the plant absorbs during the day directly impacts how much she eats at night.
These were taken this morning. They look healthier and they're losing their yellow colour since I turned the light down and raised it. Yes Trash, these lights are indeed "strong ass bitches" and I have seriously underestimated their power twice now. Hopefully I have learnt my lesson with this now. The tallest canopy is 23" from the light and getting 440 PPFD and the shortest is 29" from the light and getting 360 PPFD. The smallest plant doesn't seem to grow very fast which is a shame because the canopies are uneven. Should I introduce another SCROG net and start training the taller plants now? The pots are still quite heavy and the soil is moist enough for the feed to wait another day which will be four days since the last watering. I was expecting them to want water more frequently by now? The foliage under the canopies is very dense. Maybe I should get rid of some of it?

this is true only to the point of light stress, than its not true anymore.
to get 900ppfd peak flower with led you need to have everything dialed in perfectly and craw to that value trough flower otherwise the risk of light burn is almost 100%.

The Purple Queen caught my eye too. Is Green Crack Punch just the same as Green Crack? I've got 3 Green Crack seeds leftover from some seeds I had sent from Nirvana in Amsterdam. That's where I got my seeds. My first two attempts at germinating seeds didn't work out, but I only tried to germinate a few at a time so I've still got some seeds left over. Maybe I could go for the Green Crack Punch and then I wouldn't have to buy as many seeds from them because I already have three of the Green Crack? My head is telling me to go with the Critical though. Decisions, decisions. 😆

I hear you but if you read the whole thread you'll know that the only problems I've really had with my plants so far appeared to be light related. Both times they were losing their colour and going yellowy there was a direct correlation between that and increasing the intensity of the light. These plants seem really sensitive to the light and require less than what is considered normal at this time. I could turn the light up but I'm almost certain that they'll go yellow again. I don't want to take any risks at this stage because everything seems to be going well. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Green Crack Punch is

out of curiosity why are you pruning these newbies into buying things that are way out there, I've been watching a lot of old growers some are in the best of the business, I grow my plants just as well & even better than any of you, why are you pressuring 70 -100 dollar nutrients, etc, just like one tried to prone someone into buying Nectar soils, etc. some I've been seeing especially on JOSE Shane JJ, & the rest, 1 is using basic & in contests on here, listen to the older growers you will save money

it's everywhere in here other forums, etc, I don't get that, I did what others have done and ended up wasting money b/c the nutrients work just as well as African violet fertilizers as well as some Epsom salts as a steroid, the 3 basics for cannabis to grow just as well as the more expensive items, as I told 1 of the growers I got respect for you by not trying to get others to buy this & that, back in the early 90s I had an apt with a walk-in closet, I grew basic cannabis plants in the closet but only in vege, they grew well, I didn't have any of this, etc, people used their wits & trial & error, my advice is for those for growing personal, use youtube, etc, discord, a lot of these are basics growers, not into growing commercially, is all I'm saying & you know this, here's a good question for you explain the difference between basic nutrients & these real fancy nutrients like Remo's which was 120 dollars, for photos they work, doesn't work on autos, autos are what I prefer to grow, this is all by experience

a nutrient salt is a salt, the same salt everywhere, there's some different sources and different chelators that makes a difference on how available it is to the plants, now there's some "advanced" stuff that helps in salt based or organics too, like beneficial fungus and bacterias, aminoacids, humid and fulvic acids and thats it, there's no magic bottle. KISS method always the best.

the quality of ingredients buts that’s research not price but generally coincide.. quality meaning containing heavy metals etc..

Was the pun intended with that word or did it seem inappropriate to use the word "groomed?"

Do you think I am being pruned here? 😆
Btw I just got a hair pruning the other week, My Lady told me I was looking like a caveman 😆😆😆
