so the container u showed us. lets say i wanna seed up one entire plant so that means your breaking the fan out lets say and dusting one plant.
how many times could you do that with what you just showed us in that one container. so we have some idea for sales or storage quantity. not a paint brush so you will have waste i guess. just wonder what you think ...... how much would you pull out ?
& can you just toss it back in the fridge ? how many times have you taken pollen out of the fridge & put it back in ? does it hold up bouncing in or out ? just wondering if a buch of smaller containers will be needed ....
nice breakdown .....
cool , so you would hand paint the plant each bud. my original question was centered around quantity of seed expected from what was collected. because it looked like what i would catch after 48hrs and then a shake .....
so if that amount was sold, both side understand the expectations. he could had paint one plant for about 500 seeds or paint 5 plants and get 100 of each. or if he set that in front of a fan, maybe bump up the expected seeds by 30% ... not sure. but if your selling it, nice knowing that upfront. & you could work with 500 seeds for nice selections on a new line .... so because of this, the price goes up for the special pollen .....
hey what if i can select from a few and a make a few seeds ......, or ya i could do that .........
i have a bunch of ideas but i gotta see some tail's FIRST...... like a crack head checking them every morning .... lol
i just popped some rosetta stone f2's & some velvet rush ( highland blue thai ) unreleased dj short - f7's hoping i'll need them this summer .... i'm moving backward and starting over lol...
& i'm a big believer that everything free, if breeders work it, great, if they sell it , great if the stock they use was gifted , great ...... so ........ i'm just another guy with seeds & popping them. but leave the respect talk at the door. i will use F1's, F2's, b.x's of other work just never gift it as a next generation .....
but the durban are open season, old stock original breeder gone, so anything goes.
I've stored pollen in the same gallon zip-lock's that I collected it in. Kept it stored in a dark, dry closet. It was still viable three years later. I surely didn't think it would. It wasn't special. (MK-Ultra)So I don't know if I've mentioned this but I have pollen that's been stored for about 22 months or so in not so ideal conditions with vegetation and moisture and in and out of freezer garage and storage unit that will be tested sooner then later hopefully by someone and I will report results at that time
