He didn't get them for free. Be paid for seeds which im sure were a pretty penny for some seeds.
Seeds used to be like 3 bucks each years ago now they are charging huge amounts. How come the seeds are not for free?
I've bought clones before and gotten free seeds. If I sprouted those seeds and one of em is special is that not my plant? Can't sell clones off it? Maybe I should give it back to the breeder?

I don't mind paying 100 for a clone if it's a proven cut instead of going through dozens or hundreds of seeds to find that special plant.

I've been buying clones for only a minute but their are old school strains still 100 like Northern lights or OG Kush. Forum cut GSC is still $100. Ive seen Apple fritter on strainly for a few month's now. Hasn't come down any in price didnt show up last night on their.

It’s not always because they are fake, strain degeneration is real when especially when they are in less then ideal condition for long periods of time.
I’ve seen it first hand with degeneration and dudding of the strains. Most of the old cuts I have around are a mirror image of what I use to be able to do with them. But they hold the gene pool and I’ve just started crossing them. When I grow out crosses I can see the shine of what the old strain use to do.
My friend in Michigan has the ecsd, sent it to me and the clones didn’t root and I haven’t asked for it again.
