I'm going through the same stuff.
And plants in shadows in later part of the day.

Really going to be making something to attach to side of garage with clear corrugated plastic panels for the roof and clear tarps for the sides on heavy rain.
If you do something like that, fans and even adding supplemental lighting will be the way to go.
Good luck.
If you do end up using a fan, dnt blow air directly/constant in 1 place.
Oscillating or hurricane fans if you have the $$.
The oscillation has a few more pivotal points
