Thanks man. Saw your post in another thread. Gonna try and get them up closer to the light asap. :DRoots are definitely looking much better bro and good job saving that little one. You never know that could be the keeper of the group...
sorry I dont see itFellas i apologize. Been totally out of it for a while. Not been feeling great. Thank you for carrying on my thread without me!
I have a question. @Wisher619 Do you see the orangey dust on these leaves? I can't tell if it's coco splash from the watering or PM or rust fungus. Seems like it's multiplying. Any thoughts ?

Just read an article last night "Strongest Strains" 2017. And I'll be dipped in ship if there isn't a "Sour Girl" on the list. It's sour D x gsc. Our SG has neither parents, I got 5 feebs labled "purple chemdog x headcandy (jackberry x amnesia x ( killer queen/space queen. ) . I emailed the breeder to ask about the "purple chem" he acted annoyed that I asked, but he told me the story. And in a nutshell...he got it from vic high via subcool. So I'm satisfied that it came from a pretty good source. Anyway, Mandalaman I'd love feedback on this name thang once those are finished if you don't mind. I just don't want to add to the "strain name " confusion.
Yessir. I notice big difference with underwater vs overwater. Whole plant droops vs leaves. And the recovery time is mere hours.she came back to life fast. hope all is well with you.

All is as well as I'm allowing it to be right now man. Working on that. Thanks for stopping in brother.
so has anyone explained to you how to maintain that mom? Some photos. First a before and after of my GG4 mom whom I neglected and let get ridiculously underwatered. Before and after is theee hours apart. I may have to repot her because even in soil at this point if I don't water her once a day she gets like this. And she's a hungry girl. I can't feed her enough. Not ideal where she is right now. But she'll survive and I have plenty of clones already.

Here's my GG4 cut in the RDWC (plus two weeks added to my initial plan as her roots were a disaster from my lazy lack of ezcloner maintenance. Lucky she's durable. Bouncing back well). I bent her and twisted her a bit. But she's still looking better. I raised the ec to 0.58 pH is stable at 5.8. Temp 70-71. Ambient 66-75. No airstones. AgSil, CalMag, FertMax A+B and Hydroguard. Haven't changed the Rez once. Not sure if I will. I'll play it by ear. I re add hydroguard every few days. I also will take a solo cup and pull some water from the control bucket and pour through the grow rocks as often as I am down there (multiple times a day - uuuusually). Roots seem to be thriving. You can see the one last strand of dead roots still in the mix.

Night and day on those roots. I remember when she only had that brown string of roots. Nice improvement. They're all looking good brotha. I've been there where I neglected my tent and paid for it. I try to avoid it now obviously. I was thinking the same thing about the frost. Genetics are definitely #1 and having a near perfect run doesn't hurt I'm sure. From what I've learned so far is the genetics are already set, its our job not to fuck them up basically. Once we get our environment dialed in and grow style set I'm sure things will be smoother. All part of learning curve. We've both had our share of bumps in the road but if we keep rolling with the punches we'll be alright! Some photos. Dude. Awesome awesome. No one had. I was just kind of blindly going at it. :Dso has anyone explained to you how to maintain that mom?
you can pretty much hack that girl down to the nub and it will grow back
I do this every couple months
literally I chop my moms down to almost nothing
pull it out of its pots and hack the roots about 25% and refill with *coco* for me
and begin feeding again
