9th week complete for 3 plants. Nothing looks like its finishing up. But getting closer. Found a few amber heads on the chocolate chunk. I added some kelp and barley to the bag. Pruned off a lot of leaves. Bother the chocolate chunk and the Chem Og have a purple fade going on. No yellow. Can’t wait to try these new genetics. Although I am really enjoying the “shoe hash” I’ve been smoking on.
Veg is definitely starting to pull out of its funk. I applied prf-97 again Thursday am. I think I might drop back to once a week alternating the prf-97 and grandevo. Maybe replace the other spray with ewc or aloe or both or...
Thanks for looking

The Chocolate Chunk came down last night. A few amber trichs, but the growing tips showed that she was done. I dropped all the fan leaves for mulch and left the root ball. Some nice solid heavy buds. Can’t wait to try them.

I hit my veg with Micronized Sulfer this am. Invested in an electric spray paint gun. Harbor Freight. Really spreads the stuff hopefully better than the pump sprayer. I tried the stuff on two plants that seem to be still stunted the night before and then wacked the entire veg tent this am. Added a second afghan peach to the big bag and also a new Chocolate Chunk.
The chocolate chunk that I took down is drying nice and slowly at about 50% humidity and 60^f. Pics soon

The Chem Og went amber fast and I took her down this morning. Lots of frost in the drying box. All fan leaves were left to mulch in the bag.

bot A hugely successful grow for me so far and I am obviously still working out the bugs (haha) but it is so amazing that I can grow this wonderful top shelf herb. Not so long ago I would never have dreamed of having plenty of beautiful fresh flower. It was fetching $400 a zip. What started as an experiment in my basement with an old refrigerator and a couple of fluorescent lights (an experiment that I couldn’t tell a soul about) has become a hugely rewarding hobby, saved me thousands of dollars, and has taught me so many things about both myself and the mice and macroscopic world around me. This may be the ganja talking, but I fucking love Ganga.

Yeah Oldmantiver. I get a charge from my tomato garden but the magic of the grow combined with the magic of the cannabis plant makes for an amazing rush. Growing has taught me about how the world works. My curiosity is sparked and my mind is opened to the world of microbes and life that was always unnoticed below my feet and around me. My little indoor grow is my microcosmic window into a reality that astounds confounds and inspires. A sprouting seed becoming a trich laden flower contains all the mystery of our world. I am, like you, Grateful: to be turned on to this beautiful magic, to be able to share and discuss my work, to be able to enjoy the fruits of my labor as they are augmented by working in concert with the natural order. Grateful. I’m even almost grateful for the fucking broads for how they have pushed me to change and adapt and be humble. All in my dark and now super clean basement. “Once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.”

Back to reality. Haha. I added another Chem-Og to the bag. Topdressed with a bag of commercial castings (black gold brand) and watered with fresh squeezed aloe water. Eg planta don’t look great from all the spraying but I’m just feeding the bag as fast as it empties with the tallest specimens from veg. Excavation was very active with worms and I hope my echo system is starting to wake up and take over. One thing I’m noticing is that the transplant at flower seems to kill the stretch. (Of course it could be broads too). In the past I have always overvegged and grown into my ceiling. This might be a good thing.
Chocolate chunk is getting close to being dry enough to try.

Pfr-97 yesterday am with the paint sprayer. Chocolate Chunk finally got tried. Tastes really good. Very smooth smoke and a nice earthy/fuel flavor. Didn’t grow like a straight indica and high is not just body and couch. Has some up which I like. Buds are super sticky and burn nicely. I’m pretty happy and look forward to trying the other pheno which is. Low and bushy and may be more indica expressive.

Had a eureka moment with my dry sift arrangement. I am sitting on a 150 micron screen and cleaning on a 50. In addition, this run, I used a static charged balloon to pick up impurities. So: swipe and spread the sift on the fifty micron to press impurities through the screen; then pass the balloon after rubbing it on my hair) over the spread out sift. You can hear the bs jumping to the balloon. Nice trick and some awesome hash.

Took apart and rigorously cleaned veg

Added 1000 red wigglers to the bag. No spray this am for veg. Chopped the white widow, the last of the original 3. Was a small plant but it packed on some flower. I was surprised. Dropped all fan leaves and larf for the new worms to enjoy.

1st pic above is a chocolate chunk about 2 weeks in which was very stressed by constant oraboosy exposure. She started to fern and teach as soon as she went into the big bag. Transplant was very clean and low stress
2ond pic is an Ethos Chem Og which was topped and has become a 3 headed beast but is only just over 2’ tall. Probably 6 or 7 weeks in. Buds are super compact.
3rd is the Afghan peach cut that went immediately into the bag 4 ish weeks ago. It has exploded. It was not stressed when is went in and it has prospered but not really stretched at all. I’m looking forward to trying the bud.
4th pic is a mystery seed from exotic genetics. It went in the bag small and stayed small. It is ready to harvest as I have scoped amber heads. I’m waiting for my drying box to empty out from the last three harvested. Didn’t clone this one so I hope it isn’t the best smoke I ve ever had. Haha
5th pic is another angle of the afghan peach along side a second afghan peach ( featured in pic 5). This one is about 2 weeks in.

Sulfur all of veg this am then added a white widow to the big bag. Took down the exotic genetics mystery seed and it gave off a crazy fruity smell when I chopped it up. Tiny plant. Had little veg and may Have had broad mites at some point. But wow crazy odor when chopped. Regretted not cloning when I smelled it.

Smoked some of the Exotic Genetics mystery seed that came as a freebie with a Seeds Here Now order. I dried it fast so not well cured. It tasted good and fruity like it smelled. However no effect. Like nothing. I puffed the entire bud that I dried. It was covered in trichs and smelled like fire but... maybe a CBD strain or something? Oh well , you roll the dice you get what you get. The chocolate chunk on the other hand is now dried and starting to cure. I’ve stolen some buds from the racks and it is very strong. A little more sedative than I originally perceived. Nice strong tasty herb and very different in flavor and effect than what I have been smoking for the past several years. Jah be praised

The grow goes on. The first afghan peach is blowing up. Very little stretch on this one. It came out of a solo cup right into the bag. It is stacking on some love.
