I didn't think so, C! I seen them Gavitas at my boys shop and they didn't have the light intensity I want. I think my Raptors shine all over them, bro. To each their own tho!

Those Gavitas are supposed to out out more lumens I believe... and be more energy effective. They look like they are solid, I like my good old magnum hoods though! Always performed great for me.

i liked my Radiants better than the Raptors really. I'm gonna run 3-600w and 2-1000w again soon and see the dif side by side.

I run all radiants, uncooled. They penetrate and spread just right for my liking ;)

Cool. Every1 has dif grow styles and rooms. Sealed rooms r great for Gavita lights but I run Air Cooled lights and in & out fans. Works just fine for me.

Never stop working on new techniques, Baba! I'm always trying new shit also. Hence the soil beds this round. They r killing it for sure. I will prob keep running them in my room.

About two months ago my guy at the shop had a customer who wanted 100 of the Gavitas, but the my guy only order 4 to test against 4 1000's. He said that the Gavitas ran neck and neck with the 1000's but they were no cooler than the 1000's so they said it was no need to switch over at the price the Gavitas cost.

bulb replacement is part of the money saving with the gavita. Unless you run them in controlled rooms with isolated variable(lighting), it's really tough to say if they are better or not. I've heard the opposite from people who ran them neck in neck with their regular 1kw's.
