I agree mixing things up is the best way! And A paint sprayer ;) Or a foggerHopefully the sulfur didn't effect things so I can give a proper report of the effectiveness of Dr. Zymes. I definitely think that mixing things up is crucial to success with these bugs. I was depending too much on Avid and Forbid.
I'm going to pick up some more Dr. Zymes to treat the main garden. (Prewash to clean residue from previous Avid spraying?) Then I'm going to Met 52, Conserve SC and then Movento.
Cant hurt to wash em down the morning before spraying in the evening.
That Movento is a systemic, I didnt read anyfurther..is that for late in bloom?
If you used the avid correctly it should still be killing or at least paralyzing them.
And, the forbid should have killed the eggs
Like Cannacrone said...The spray method seems to make the difference.
I wish I would bought this sprayer a couple years ago..
Maybe then, I would have been able to keep them away in the first place
Next year..I know what to do..and spraying plain water isnt it.
I think they may have enjoyed the daily showers I was giving them(the russets im mean)
They certainly didn't mind em:banghead:
