end of week 4. some pistils are turning brown already, was concerned about pollination but there are no pollen sacks to be found so i'm lowering the humidity and raising the lights to see if that makes any difference. maybe they just grow like that or whatever, the experiment goes on..

led buds! micro garden @ 44 days in flower mode. the flowers are small but frosty. cutting back on the nitrogen since all plants exhibit symptoms of n overload. otherwise all good, the plants are growing and have not hermied. trying to keep the temps around 76 - 81 degrees lights on. running 2 led lights, chinese mars hydro 600. will probably go back to the 600w hps in autumn when the temperatures get cooler. so far plants 1, 2, 8 & 9 are looking interesting for future grows. i like the structure and buds of #1, the potential for great yield from the #9 and #2 and the extra dope fragrance of the terpy #8.

thanks sunny, glad you're enjoying it! kind of holding my breath but so far it's going great, it's my first time using led lights (lower temps = nice) and i've also never done passive hydroponics before. just a few weeks left now, waiting to see if the buds will put on some more weight before harvest..

photo update from the led tent @ day 53 of flowering. small but compact and dense buds that are covered in trichomes. i have sampled some quick-dried lower branch flowers and it was amazing

hey hey day 66, nutrients have been cut back since 2 weeks but leaves are staying green mostly, some showing lock-out but no "fade", lol. here's the #1, photos don't really show it but the buds are turning slightly purple. will post better pics from proper cam later

well, this is what's left of the harvest. total yield was around 400 grams with the two biggest yielders (#9 and #2) giving about 70 grams each, the rest ranging from 15 to 45 g. had i started flowering with 2 leds rather than the 1 the yield would probably have been a little higher, but i'm pleased since this was more of an experiment than anything. so, seeds came from hermie plants that were stressed due to high grow room temperature. seedlings grew fine in corrected temps and plants matured without any hermie traits. the potency was good, the flavors even better. if the seeds were bought i would rate it a B, perhaps a B+.

i won't be running any of the clones though, but i will flower #3 that has been living in my window since i rescued the top by rooting it a few months ago. it has recieved absolutely no direct sunlight at all but is doing surprisingly well. i'm gonna put it under a 200w cfl now though because there's barely any light here during the winter season. also next run will feature the 9 lb hammer from tga. peace out
