Wtf!!

I was hoping to see some improvements. its been almost a week, and they seem to be getting worse. now plants that were not showing def are totally showing Mag def. i put in calmag a few days ago.

Can someone chime in and offer some advice, please. i have never had def issues with lucas Formula before. is this a by product from the bugs i battled (they are still gone).

here are some pics.... they are showing me signs of Nitrogen, Maganese, Magnesium, and potassium.

Am i completely in nute lockout? Ph is 5.8-6.0 ppm = 1100 before cal mag addition the other day. bumped it up to full strength (lucas formula) 1330ppm with the addition of cal mag.

Damn no recovery yet..
so i blew up some of your pics,,, and on the new growth i couldnt find any major problems.. of course pics dont always tell a story. Are you referring to your old growth that was damaged? cause that aint gona turn around and be green again ya know.. once them leaves are toast they are toast.
Only other thought, thats a high ppm ratio you got, im always under 1000 in veg for sure, push to 1200 max during flower... just a thought
h

i had it just above 1000 then when i added the cal mag, it bumped it up like 200. i use the lucas formula (8ml micro & 16ml bloom for each gallon. that equals 1323ppm i never had an issue tho, previously. but i have never grown in ebb & flow tables either. but the lucas formula was made for ebb & flow. i am feeding every 6 hours for 20 minutes. i am going to change the rez tomorrow and refill at 1000ppm.

the old leaves will be removed and i dont think they are coming back. lol

wanted to flower these ones this week. am i good to go, or will there be issues with growth?

thanks for chiming HB. i appreciate it.

Hey bro im better at electrical than growing,,, thats for sure
so i could be wrong about everything.... except electrical lol
i've always heard in UC that less is best,, maybe that might apply to your dealio.
I see that carpeting... r u in that room by the main panel?
have u got ur garage grow going.
check out my warehouse pics... im ready to relocate some sickness soon
h

i have some super lemon haze babies going down there along with some Jack herer. Some more DJ S. blueberry down there already. soaking rockwool tonight and transplanting tomorrow. I'll take some pics later and put up.

regarding ppm. I am willing to lower it. based on the feeding tho, it seems to stay right in line. ppm doesnt fluctuate that much day to day so far. so they are drinking and eating at the same pace, which is pretty good. we'll see how they feed when i flip...

no carpeting, in that room. you may be seeing the coco mats i laid down in the tray.

That's SUCKS bro. It definitely looks worse. Anytime I have a problem I, 1. Check the pH calibration, 2. run Clear-ex.

You should pick off a few affected leaves and post the pictures of individual leaves.

i picked off the dead or sickly leaves already. the ppm is down to 1100 on one of them and 1200 on the other. The rez is full so i couldnt dilute anymore. but i will dilute again tomorrow, or change out he rez all together. i really think HB is right. the new growth looks good. by the time i adjusted the ph, after calibrating my pen, it was already showiong bad signs, so now it looks like the worse has passed.... fingers are crossed for sure.

Ive never flushed with clearex except in the end. Not sure about during a run. I'ld clip off the krappy leaves, lollipop em a little, get your new upper growth boomin.
boom chickity boom chickity boom
then ull be styling\

Word will do a nice cleaning of the damaged leaves. thanks HB! The room you wired is ready to go fully. just dropped some rooted Jack Herrer & SSLH. Rezies are full of 1000pm @ 4.5. I realized there is a 1.0-1.3 spike after hitting the rocks wool. Something i learned on hte job, this time. wish i would have known htat sooner. bad my bad. this whole ebb & flow style is soo new to me, i have always been a dwc guy. thats how i learned.

Rockwool has just finished a whole 24 hour soak, and popped the babies in. i bought one of htose analog ph meters for soil. i pop in hte rockwool and it reads just below the "6", so i guess thats 5.8ish. so thats cool for me.

I'll have some more pics up later tonight, after i tend to the GDP and blueberry dilution again. they were at 1100 and 1200, down from 1330 and 1458. The 1458 started @ 1330. Hence the deficiencies in that tray. both the ph and ppm were way to high. (earlier posts).

Thanks for being active, i truly do appreciate it. i feel like carson palmer. You know he should be good to go, considering he doesnt have to learn anything new, just needs to execute as if he hasnt been out of the game. well.... we both failed on that one. i threw a pic 6 to the fucking bugs, then another int for TD return with regards to the out of calibration issue i had leading to the ph being just over 1.0 of actual. that sucked.

so hopefully with the corrections and the time, we can both recover. Cant believe i used an oak raider as a metaphor. Bolt pride, son!!! I guess i hate the patriots more.... but you get my drift, right?

popping & locking with mr. rogers!

So i dropped the ppm of the new cuttings to low 700-730. realized there was an error on the update earlier.

Thinks are looking a lot better. i guess once you clean out hte damage, you can see the real story. they are recovered/ing. you tell me...

the room is steady between 64-72 (night/day temp) rh stays around 60-65, sometimes dips below 55 for an a few hours early in the morning.

Here are some pics of the newly trimmed GDP and Blueberry. I was able to dilute rez today to around 1120-1150, which means they are right in their zone right now. very close to last night, after i topped off, and there was a little over 2 gallons consumed, and ppm stayed pretty close to starting point. it raised about 30 ppm. so i think 1075-1100 is good for them right now. i guess i'll know more tomorrow.

EDIT: there was to be gif of mr rogers learning how to pop & lock.

Dude, they look so much better. They turned around fast. Back in business!

let's just wait until i see them today. who knows, there could be more drama to unfold... lol thanks for the vote of confidence. things look good. i just hope i dont see any increase in the ppms from last night. i am hoping for them to be at or below 1120ppm.
we'll know soon.

After trimming all those leaves off, i would imagine the plant will want to take up more water than usual, to recover from the vegetal loss, correct? i noticed when i took a boat load of cuts from my two mothers, back in the day, the ppm reading skyrocketed, as the moms were recovering from the loss of all those branches and tops.

If u just cut off the damaged ol krap im not sure about the intake, but i know that ull start seeing major new growth as long as all is correct i.e. temps, humidity, nutes and so on
they are def. looking sweeter
h

They are looking good. ppm is steady at 1120 ph stable too.

Sorry i havent been updating. i was to flip to flower last week, but some shit came up. Been busy from morning til i fall asleep around 130am the whole last week. i will get some updates going over the weekend.

And I'll update the news that has transpired this week. So til then....

Scroger your setup looks amazing and your plants look just as good. I'm a huge fan of GDP, it's probably one of my favorite smokes. I'm growing a SLH and WW myself and was looking to ScrOG them considering i'm only using a 150W HPS.

I was wondering what you think of the netting i'm using. It's all i could find and i had to cut out alot of it to out to make it the right size. Hoping you can get back to me :mmm
