Why isn't there a single leaf showing showing issue on your roots gals if its due to humidity? The light over them is 6" to 1' closer as well.
When plants are larger with more root mass to uptake and water, evapotranspiration rates are higher which creates a cloak of humidity in the plant canopy. As well, the canopy itself helps create a more humid zone (much like a rainforest) micro climate that the entire crop can benefit from. Why isn't there a single leaf showing showing issue on your roots gals if its due to humidity? Whaddup bud! Thx for the props... Indeed the girls in the UC nearly doubled size in a week. On the other hand, I'm getting ready to start another coco run as soon as I get those Roots Organic soil girls outta the bathroom...Nice work in thar Shady, ur coco plants are raging.
Looks to me as if those UC chitlins have aclimmated and are gonna start blowing up. I'd agree on the humidity causing the leaf issues, my guess is they double in size in the next 7 days.
Thx brah! It feels good to be back in bloom...Lookin bomb shady you keep killin bruh!!
Right on monkeymun! Thx for checking out my thread...Subbed bro. Killing it so far. Love the results people get with UC.
My RH in the bathroom has been above 60% due to the relatively weak inline fan in the bathroom and distance from the bedroom exhaust. HPS in the bathroom is also 600W, but I think it's a slightly higher humidity due to the size of the plants in relation to the room/exhaust.Why isn't there a single leaf showing showing issue on your roots gals if its due to humidity? That's correct... I start with 4 gal of RO, and then mix in each per the ml/gal number in the order they were listed. I will also adjust the pH of the mix. Once I flip to bloom, I will use the top off res though...4 gal of RO in ml/gal
CalMag: 2
UC Roots: 2
CS Veg A: 3
CS Veg B: 3
pH: 6.2
PPM: 280
Hey Shady, could explain your dosage plz sir? Mainly just the first line " 4 gal of RO in ml/gl"
I am assuming you mean 2ml per gallon of UC Roots and Cal/Mag, and 3ml per gallon of A and B? Just wanted to make sure I understood correctly.
That first line kinda confused me (4 gal of RO in ml/gal). Is it that you mix it up in 4 gallons of RO and then add to the main system?
Thanks
Word up... It does seem as though the UC is more sensitive to low RH in the beginning of veg than other mediums; I wonder if it has something to do with roots being constantly immersed in water as opposed to a soil or soiless medium...When plants are larger with more root mass to uptake and water, evapotranspiration rates are higher which creates a cloak of humidity in the plant canopy. As well, the canopy itself helps create a more humid zone (much like a rainforest) micro climate that the entire crop can benefit from.
Lastly, recently propagated cuttings will always be the most likely to exhibit issues given they are at their most vunerable and delicate state.
I definitely need to bump up the RH properly next round... It should help produce a nice root mass much quicker...Makes sense. He did just yank them out of the old baskets and got them into the new ones.
Looking forward to fat colas under the Plasma and Gavita... I'd like to rock those lights, but I'm gonna scoop up a Canon Rebel T4i first...I think high RH is also key if we want to see those pinky-finger thick shoots on our gals. I ordered one of those commercial humidifiers that puts .4 gal/hr into the air, will keep you posted in the weeks to come with what it does to some Ghost under the Plasma.
How are the girls in the UC looking now?
