Nice toker. 2 per ez? Right now im putting 9 per 4x4 under nano de 5x5. How long u veg? What type strain ? Plant train and prune? Nice trying to bump up resin production. Eventually I want to look into increasing uv too

My veg is usually less than 30 days but I do get some that go a little longer. But that's from me being a clone whore. I take 21 cuttings every 2 weeks but only have room for 8 in my flowering rotation so I end up culling a lot of them or giving them away except when the begining of the outdoor season starts, I'll sell them to the outdoor growers.
I don't' really train, just lolliepop the lower branching and if i'm running stretchie strains I may tie the top over to level the canopy.
Most of my strains have been chosen for their resin production already, and from my observations the use of the 10k does more for the maturation of the Trichs than increasing trich production.

Right on bro. For phenos u select for resin and frost and thc mostly? I run them under 10k mh for stretch 3weeks but thats just because trying to give them more growth beforw hps. Is there a certain time frame u put them under 10k for increased resin production?

I believe THC is only part of the equation when selecting phenos. I believe the plants as a whole with all the terpenes, flavonoids and associated compounds is where we can experience the full potential of the plants . As far as timing on the 10k MH I run mine the last two weeks only for 2 hours a day spread out to 30 minute intervals through the lights on period.
I'm surprised you don't get more stretch running it at the beginning of flower because that what happened when I experimented using them at first weeks of flower. To control the stretch in my garden I run my flowering lights at 13 hours for the first 2-3 weeks.

Around 30 " or so right under. I sort of run a stadium style with the plants directly under on the floor and each successive row either use taller plants or stands to get them up to receive lighting for their canopy. Usually I start them under the light and move them down the rows as they grow taller till the last 2 weeks then they are on the very outside rows.
I'm running my 600-750 de at max 825 watts

It's clever little things like that that help make weight imo. I only do two plants a light so a stadium is pretty much impossible so what I do is bend each plant so it's a half stadium. I like to maximize the surface area exposed to bright light and an angled canopy gives you more surface area to produce more bud. It also takes advantage of the way the light spreads from the point source lighting Hard to tell w multiple pics but that's left middle and right two plants under a light

Well I pulled the trigger on the c02 setup, and the chiller for my rdwc. Im still holding off on what lights to use. I could run 1 more time with the hps lights I guess. Im still in my same room so 6 foot ceilings.. so far now im gonna hold off...

1k hps per 4x4 space is all you need
should be able to pull 2# per light
as long as you fill with 4x4 of canopy
also if running c02 you are gonna run higher temps
low 80's
remember VPD
2# per should be easily attainable
with my 350w led I pull anywhere between 60-90g per plant
so an average of 75g per plant and I can fit
8 75g plants in a 2x4 space
that is about 1.3# per 350w
52g per sqft
which I havnt done yet because I havent done a max plant monocrop run in here with this light yet

but it isnt the light
it is the technique that pushes the plants

you are gonna have to read the ppm constantly and make sure they are eating correctly as in giving them max nutrients judging by how much is consumed per day of ppms and adjusting to ride that line

Well your opinion is the one THAT matters to me! All bs aside, YOU ARE the reason I am as successful as I have been. And I wont lie, its been pretty good! I have no fear with anything related to growing. You have gave me enough knowledge that its up to me where I end up. I know Im having fun.

When I start that next flower run, WE will follow your instructions. I know we are gonna get there this time, I just feel it.
As for vpd, i followed your instructions last grow pretty close. I ran 63 % rh and 74 last time. But you say with c02 that i need to be between 80 and 84, that means I will need 75% rh. That means that my carbon filter wont be very effective. If that is the case im concerned I might loose smell out my window ac... Yes next year I prob add a mini split. What vpd would be your recommendations?

well just drop the rh just till your Carbon filter becomes effective say 65
that will only mean you will have to adjust your feed which means they will be taking in more water to transpire so the ec will be a little less
running the ec just to slight tip burn ...backing off about 50ppm's and holding it there
you will be good
and hopefully the flowers you are running will produce slightly larger clusters

Thanks man. Those ones were about 6 weeks out of a beer cup; they spent about a week in a cup. I used to veg 9 weeks in peat but since switching to coco I've shaved off a few weeks

To be more on thread topic I should add that I was in 15gal coco/perlite 75/25. Started flowering watering once a day at about 700-800ppm 1.4-1.6ec. By two weeks in they were drying too much for once a day started doing twice a day while lights on at about 500-600ppm. By the end of week 6 I was at about 400,week 7 400-300, week 8- 250, week 9 went from 250 down to about 40-50ppm, week 10 40-50(that's just plain water for me). They finished in 10weeks:)

So very interested in your methodology here. I believe its backed by commercial tomato growers if im not mistaken. What's your NPK ratios look like throughout different stages of a 9to 10wk strain? Would also be extremely helpful to know correlated PPM @.71 scale or EC with those stages as well..

Im currently reducing ec from 1.4 ec 3x day then 1.2 ec 4x day bumped every 6hrs irrigation on for 4 second then now 1.1 ec with 5x day.

I noticed when I increased my daily feedings to 5x day my higher EC of 1.25 was causing slight burn on surface of leaves like they crumble away at edges looks like very fast nute burn almost I want to say. Should I lower ec even lower than 1.2 @5x or change something ??

actually the opposite is true for commercial tomato growers
to induce fruit clusters and fruit ripening
ec is raised significantly as well as keeping the media as dry as possible without wilting
with an ec of between 3-5k

is the reason you are feeding so many x's a day is because your medium is drying that quick or are you just running that much?
when running your feed 4seconds and consistantly doing it you are building your ec extremely high as the plant dosnt uptake all elements equal
so some will begin to build
if you are going to be feeding like this you should run a full flush 3x the medium at least every 10 days IMO
