Yes I grow organic in soil so really dont get into ppm's , My major concern with the co2 is to not waist it or use it to long , I have numerous successful grows using sugar , water and yeast , so i will hook it up to a timer and run it at 1000ppm's for about 15mins lights on and lights off unless I get better info , I have in the last several month's have had two homes I was going to purchase fall thru and am still going to move in Jan or there abouts. Once I am in my own home again I will go all out with expense's and stealth and start some sog, and scrog's till them I flower in a closet and just bought another 1k light and a tent on ebay yesterday , so I'll also flower in garage where currently my mom's ,clones , next up plants and males (isolated in a closed area) hang out.... Dont wanna see my next electric bill ..... peace SoSer

Bro I wouldn't bother with the lights off enrichment,the plant only takes in co2 with the lights on as the indicator to use it so I have read.looking great bro.

Id have to agre with TF Sos, your wasting your juice with lights off applications IMHO. Ive been running COs for couple years now. At first it was with a timer, 2 hours on when the lights come on to bring the room up, then 15 min on and 15 min off all the way to an hour before lights off. Now i run a sentinel and maintiain right around 1200 or 1300 for the cycle. As long as everything in your room is optimal, the CO2 will be a benefit. It will only perform as well as the weekest link in the setup. If lighting, nutes and or feed, water yada yada yada arent up to where they should be, the CO2 additon wont allow ur girls to perform to their max. Also alot of folks will let their rooms run hotter with the CO2 addition. Some even believe low 90's is doable. I for one do not follow that school of thought. I still run my rooms at 76/78 degrees CO2 or not. If everything is dialed in Sos, CO2 will def up the anty for ya bro, ive seen it time and time again and it works.

water and yeast isnt gonna bring your ppms up enough to do much of anything. CO2 enrichment should be high throughout your light cycle. when lights are out your plants don't use CO2 so you're wasting it. You can also use a timer to deliver spurts of CO2 throughout your light cycle. There are charts out there to help you figure out the length and rate at which to deliver the CO2 for your size of space. You have to figure out the cubic feet of your room. http://www.hydroponics.net/learn/co2_calculator.asp here is a link to a CO2 calculator. just plug in the info and it will give you the length and amount of the CO2 spurts. this is the best way to calculate the amount of CO2 you need without the use of an expensive CO2 controller. I used to do it this way before I bought my sentinel. keep in mind that unless your room is completely sealed that CO2 levels dwindle quickly. You will probably want to have your timer set so that your CO2 is on for a while, then a fan comes on, then fan shuts off again and CO2 comes back on. something like every half hour would be good. The calculator link I gave says fill room every 3 hours, but that is only if your room is completely sealed and the fans are off. you will most likely have to vent much more frequently than that to exhaust heat. most likely every half hour.

oh, and keep in mind that your flow meter setting should be low. if you set it too high your regulator will freeze up on you

Well Ken I usually run temps around the 80-85% but that will be lowering as I just purchased a closed reflector air cooled hood. Up until this point I have been using a open winged reflector and fighting temps , more so during summer and all but one of my grows have been a success granted with the living conditions I currently have (townhome) space is limited but I have grown some pretty dank weed in a small closet without co2 - Except the sugar /water/yeast method , so co2 can only help me. I take much enjoyment in caring for the needs of my plants. I actually am depressed today because there is nothing to do in the garden and I cant pop more seeds, for fear of legality. So i cleaned every area of the three spots i use , bleaches top dressed and watch them grow a little. My question now becomes 1) can the tank stay in the closet or should I keep it out, don't wanna blow the house up hehehehe... I actually need to post a picture of it and then ask these questions let me wait for phone to charge up as I still have not managed to get a camera to work....gotta buy a new one but keep saying it and don't ... Found this out this morning as I turned it all the way up and went to sit down for like 15 min , came back and it was frozen up and cold as shit..... Then i figured out what that little ball in the meter was about (I'm totally stupid when it comes to mechanical shit) Respect SoSer

yeah man, turning it all the way up releases way too much CO2 at once. set it down near the lowest line on the meter. the key to CO2 is to keep your levels consistent rather than giving them a lot at once. try to keep it at 1200-1500 ppm for the full 12 hour on cycle. the only times it should go below that are when you are exhausting hot air.

the other thing I will add about CO2 is that it is not necessary. I use it to get as much as I can per crop for patients sake. But if I was growing a small closet for my head than I don't think I would even bother. You have to account for problems you may cause by using CO2. If you dont have all the correct equipment (i.e. dehumidifier) than using CO2 may cause problems considering you have to turn off vent fans to use it. If you dont have a dehu and a big fan constantly moving air around then you may cause things such as p.m. if your humidity gets too high. You may want to forget using CO2 if yield isn't a major concern to you. A 600 watt light without CO2 will produce enough herb every 2 months for you and your friends to puff like champions and not run out. you can easily get a 8 z's off a 600 watter with no CO2, a low yielding strain and basic grow skills. Add CO2, high yielding genetics and the skills of a pro and you can get upwards of 20 z's off a 600. There are few people in this world that need to smoke more than that every 2 months.

After begging my child to use the phone that i pay for mind you, here is the best update I am able to give I will promise to buy my self a camera by next update . Ok today is day 15 of flower on a 5am to 5pm schedule , better to my needs , Picture 1- is Snow Leopard 4b picture 2 - Snow Leopard 2b these are two completely dif pheno 's Snow Leopard 4 is a large single cola with were little side branching , it seems that it is going to produce small og type nugget's Snow Leopard 2 is more of a christmas tree shape with alot of side branches. There is very little leaves to buds ratio so trimming these should be a breeze. They were both only vegged for a month due to my mistaking two Alien Rock Candies that were very late is showing sex. So I had to add something fast and was planning on running these next but they have both more than doubled in size sl 2 12-22.5 in now sl4 14-29.5 in now stretch has seemed to slow. Don't think they will stretch much more. Ok now to the star of the show Picture 3 and 4 are of ARC 4 the one remaining of the 3 arc's she is a true star , thickest stems I have ever seen on a plant and the best genetic's I have ever worked with (even the males were stunning) She was fimmed twice and has eight dominate tops which should produces some of the finest med I have grown to date ....still 6 weeks but cant seeing any of these plant's dissapoint ... picture 5 is the co2 tank that has been discussed above......enjoy hope the picture quality is ok......peace soser

yea its a unrealized bodhi strain and its really strange looking plant bro , has internodes that alter from side to side - one on one side then a few inches up it comes out the other side and the leaves come out 5's on bottom then three then four's no set pattern to how it develops. Some leaves will have four blades all of different sizes. Sick sounding cross thou its ...Chemdog D * uzbekistanti (f) * afgooey * blockhead (m) I think that is correct linage. Go to CatDaddys thread he has them in flower around 35 days look dank but are some strange looking plant's. A few others have it also I believe SMK or Waayne possibly . ..... Rap Soon Peace SoSer
