Weird as i use calmag…

I didnt take any chance and closed one of my lights. Ive added the second one 2 days ago and its probably too much

for the fan, wind burn is possible. I only have one fan and i try to maximize it. I guess no fan directly on leaves huh? Ive raised the fan. I think it was definitely a bit too strong directly on the leaves

its possible my soil is too hot, i ve used 33% of miracle grow soil. I use floraflex nutes along calmag at the recommended dosage

as for nitrogen toxicity, i really have no idea. My stems are actually incredibly thick for their age

If the miracle grow had slow release nutes and you're also feeding nutes... that's how you get nitrogen toxicity, which it looks like to me, and maybe over watering and/or windburn.

wow, very glad to have asked here, i kinda thought it was nothing and that i was being a bit paranoid.

Yeah, best to avoid miracle grow or anything with slow release fertilizer... weed really doesn't like it... it can cause issues even without adding additional stuff.

Should i flush my media 3-10 times to try to help?

I'd ph water at 6.5 and see what your run off is I have a feeling your ph is in okay rang it's more the ppm would give a better idea but they could be going through nutrient lock out or toxicity therefore ye your feeding calmag but it's not being consumed by the plant and eventually one toxicity or deficiency will lead to another because your trying to compensate but I'd still add calmag at the end of your flush so the plant won't lack nothing else then it will use whatever nutrients stored within should carry you to the next watering and if it persist keep flushing... calmag foliar spray every 3 days do this when the lights go off so the stomata will absorb it better remember airflow is only really for helping the exchange of c02 and release of oxygen

Make sure your ph meter is calibrated and tell us what atleast the ph is and ppm if you have a pm meter but your better ph water at 6.5 overtime the soil may turn acidic and at 6.5 much safer than 6.0 and calmag is best absorbed at 6.2-6.5

Since i grow in soil, i dont have a ph meter nor the budget for it.

A ph meter is priceless in indoor gardening you can't say for certain if your plants could take up the nutrients properly and when running into plant troubles helps in quick diagnosis atleast have a ph meter could get them cheap off amazon you get what you pay for but something is better than nothing and ph'ing your water now will help get that toxicity out who knows you municipal water could be 8.5 atleast if it's R/O water but I dought it since most nutrients are ph perfect and would be 6.5ish but would explain the calmag deficiency so untill then good luck hope the flushing will work and let us know

im waiting until pre flower to defoliate. Is that a mistake? Ive read its best to let them do their thing up until flowering. Is it true?

I just do it as needed. Up to the 3rd week of flowering.

day 25: heres how it looks today… seems to be getting worst and worst.

things ive done yesterday:

1- closed 1 of my 2 lights. I have now operating 1 parfactworks RA1000 light. its placed 18 inch from the highest leaves. too close?
2- redirected my fan so as to reduce wind burn
3- Flushed 3 times the media to try to remove as much nitrogen as i could.

It's pretty crowded, I'm not big on too much defoliation, but I do outdoor so it's less of a necessity. I'd take of any fans that are damaged or dying, just never do more than a third of the foliage at a time, even that is a lot... but it looks like they need a little haircut... it usually encourages them to grow a little bit too, as long as you don't put them into shock.

No idea what im doing really, but did remove a good chunk of those huge leaves, and also cut tons of under branch. I realize i dont quite understand how the plant will grow, nor where the buds will be, ect.

Don't do anymore defoliation untill the plant is healthier the only time I think defoliation could negatively affect the plant is when it's not in top shape you want the plant to focus on getting over its current issues now you added another factor and the more leaves you remove from the bottom if is it a calmag deficiency your battling will only make it worse since it's a mobile nutrient and the plant uses the bottom foliage to steal what it needs and redirects it top of the plant or where it's needed that's why I'd wait to defoliate anymore and should never send a plant into flower when it's not healthy will reduce yields and quality
