I know that pump! It lives in my house before my RO system.
Easy enough if I go that route. I use BRS for my RO and stuff like that; https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/1-4-aquatec-8800-booster-pump-kit-bundle.html
^^ That kit comes with shut off for RO system. Always good to have replacement on hand! 👍

Bubbles can do the same thing right?
My air pumps blow what you guys use away!
I have 2 of them or the next size up.
As mentioned I plan on air in the res. of each bucket. I think I can push a lot of air for 15 buckets one way or another.
I would also recommend the alita air pumps. I have 3 of the 40 liter model. One is 10 yo the other 2 are 4 yo without a problem.

The different size I guess is just a test run, lack of commitment, and the explorer in me.
I have seen a few set ups with the 11l and they look like they grew well?
That and although I no clue what plant will do what I expect a couple to be mini trees.
It would be cool to run 2 sumps/res. and have them set differently.
Possibly instead of adjusting the res when I screw up I can just move a net pot to the other system?
IMO the buckets [ all 15 of them] were cheaper by quite a bit than any beginner 4 pot set up.
I can change the set up any time still and suspect to be able when running.
You are up early on a Sunday. I think we keep similar hours.

SLG has 8 gallon pots. Mine are 13.

1 pound in a 3x3 with 8 gal is for sure possible slg just did it.

By the time you get down to 3 gals more like 2 useable you will have a limit on plant size just like you do in dirt. The more roots you have the more water they displace and in a tight pot the fluid dynamics change and flow can be cut off to areas of roots causing an anaerobic zone.

Just stuff to watch for. Your decision on time to flip will be important to size the plant / roots to what you have to work with.

Bad habit like most of mine! I wake around 4am most days without alarm. Sometimes I have to travel 2 hours one way for work.
It comes from going to work 5+ days a week for well over 40 years.
I am at my best when I wake up. High the rest of the day! 🤷‍♂️
Been working 4 miles from home for last 2 months on a historic restoration project in the Saratoga State Park, so I have extra time on weekdays IN a.m.

What do you do for a living if you don’t mind.

I have not had an alarm in over a decade.

This is what Sunday morning looks like here with my girls.

Wow I can’t imagine what your material costs have done in the last 20 years. Copper is priced like unobtanium these days.

I do love that look tho. Cool niche.

The race track roof was the largest copper project on the East coast in 2019!
I consider myself privileged to do the work I do. It is not for everyone though.
I have been 37 stories up on the wrong side of the wall before!

It helps when they take you out of your wheelchair at 7:30pm for bed! 😲 🤣 😉
Just kidding but feel it for real!

Thanks Nick!
I work for a company that is all union roofers.
Except for about 9 guys who are metal/carpentry specialist. 😉
We get union pay when on 'prevailing wage rate jobs', but don't contribute to the union.
It is the law here.
The union would want half of my hourly pay when I do metal and close to half on carpentry.
That's about $35 an hour! 😲 I don't mind making my boss money, that is why he hired me, but have ZERO interest in lining a fat union presidents pockets. 🤷‍♂️
Our company has close to 75 union guys. The union gets enough already from my company already IMO...
75x$25x40hours =$75000 a week!
They don't need my money like I do...
