thanks for your reply bro. what would you say is the easiest and most effective for a first time UC. i should be running ccuc12xl on the right side of my room and a ccuc16xl on the right side of my room with a scrog screen over both. i was thinking about building them myself. im very crafty but im not sure i can get the right buckets. if i build it myself then i would do 3" pvc. plus i did the math. i should be able to save 800-900http://www.thcfarmer.com/forums/images/icons/icon6.gif

Hey, Mash. Your amazing grow inspired me to spend a couple of days doing some reading of your old threads. My eyes are bleeding, but wow! Lots of info.
I'm helping someone set up their GL290 like you had. They're wanting to put a Double Barreled UC8XL (so 16 buckets--CC rocks by the way: "We haven't officially released it, but we'll build one for you) with 6x1000w. I saw you recommended 4K on the other thread. They're really pushing for the 6K though. I told them they'd have to do plant maintenance with a crane with how full that tent is going to be. They still insist. What are your thoughts?

Do you think they'll be able to get any decent air movement going with that? The veg time would be almost nonexistent, as in the time it takes for the clones to get used to the room/lights. I told them they should at least compromise and make two of the lights dimable.

The other stats for the setup are:
Tent in non-climate-controlled warehouse in SoCal
24k btu mini split
air cooled hoods with 8 inch fans
CO2 burner/controller
Blue Dream from clone

Sounds legit! I'd stay away from that 6kw idea though, wouldn't touch it with a 10' cola! 4kw was ridiculously prime for that space. Slap up some photos when you make progress. :004::RastaBong:

The 3 freaks get the chop in 1.5-2 weeks for Sugar and Bogglegum, 3 more for Chem.

9 Sugar and 9 Chem under 1kw are about 2 weeks in. Looking great so far, this is the first real test for the Flip-Flop.

Back in the saddle again with the UCs. Still letting them flush. Plenty of pruning and training going on.

What would you say the top 10 srains to grow in a uc with a scrog would be? Rollin what have you had success with?

Do you think White Widdow or afgoo would be good.
Maybe some kush? I dunno

Right now I have 14 white widow mothers and 4 og kush
Not opposed to changing it up.

Probably 5.5-6 weeks of veg, another 2 for the magic 8. Screen should be filled in and stalks bulked up for the yummy nugs to come.
