Hey man those coolers look good can I plug them to my truck? It has an outlet in the bed. It would be great for hunting seasonThat's cool and hot stuff about that fridge! I've been kicking around the idea of an electric cooler for a few weeks. A couple months ago though Yeti came out with a new roadie24, in charcoal gray with a longhorn on it. I listed my old Yeti soft cooler and some wine tumblers on ebay to offset it's price.
View attachment 1136993
The auction went so well I got the new cooler and made about $60 xtra on the deal. So it's gonna hit the beach with me next week and after if it holds up, keeps the frozen margaritas frozen, then my wanderlust for a leccy cooler might go away. I've tested it out on the deck out back and it held a sixer of beer on ice for 8 days before the ice melted so it has potential. It holds a lot too for such a small cooler.
I keep hearing the plug in coolers are baddass though. Truck drivers love 'em!
And yeah if you like what that light does in veg you'll love it in flower Man. Flowers put on awesome weight and density and ups the terps compared to what I was getting before. That's what got me to change over from LEC. It flashed that first grow and I took notice of it. From there the results just kept repeating themselves so I converted over to the CLW's to handle everything from then on.
Plus it's just damn fun to use with the program controller

man that is sweet deal with the ebay coolers!!!! i understand they're badass coolers and all but why do they gotta ruin by putting an orange longhorn on it?!?!?! man i just don't get it!!! hahahahahaha
ya know if i saw it i'd probably wanna sit on it... well, really i'd wanna give it a good taint wiggle... maybe a good ball rubbin like in step brothers!!!! hahahahaha i'm sorry man, i know it aint funny to you but i'm in tears here!!!!!
but seriously eight days of cold in your heat is straight up killer results!!! i've never had a cooler even close to that. i think my five day cooler works for about three days, great name huh?!?!?
hope your on vaycay and chillin.....
the plug ins can be nice but there are a couple things they don't tell ya.... like you can't just plug em in and go huntin... well ya can but your battery will be dead when ya get back!!!! you also can't just pack in the plug ins with the rest of your gear and go... they have vents that need lots of breathing room for them to work properly. my little mini one has vents on three sides and they all pump out warm air but if you do have the open space and it can breathe well then they even get a little ice inside!! so they work great but only to their advantage.

i gotta get some pics of the plants,,,, things are growing out of control right now!!!!!! OHHHH the second chem pie is a female!!!!!!!!!!!!! wooooohooooo!!!
i got some chem pie diamonds concentrate at the dispensary... looks freakin crazy....
View attachment 1139596
i wish i knew how to make it!!!! it tastes so clean, the terps are still there but ultra clean and smooth as can be... something like 96% thc.
i'll get some pics of the plants soon.... they're growing up fast!!! and i should have my first harvest in just a couple weeks!!
have a great weekend everybody!!!! go #5 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That concentrate just looks crazier than crazy! How do they even get it like that? Do you gotta keep it cold or does it stay in a crystal form like that? Looks like ice from my end!
Yeah that's the funny thing about those plug in coolers. Just no way around physics at the end of the day. Yeah the Yetis are way over priced and way over engineered. Mine doubles as a step ladder and chair. Only thing it's missing is a drain plug. And yeah I pretty sure that longhorn on it gets it 40 degrees cooler than if it didn't
I saw a nice big plug in at Costco last week but they want $600 for it!
Plants doing well? Did all the expected fems turn fem? I hope so!
I started my new crop this week. Dropped 14 seeds hoping for at least 10 sprouts. I got 13 sprouts hahaha!
Been enjoying my time off except for yesterday. Got in a brawl with a nest of yellow jackets. They got me pretty good but I got the last laugh and went chemical warfare on their ass. Bastards were making a nest in one of my ladders and I grabbed the ladder without seeing it and they fucked me up pretty good.
Been doing a lot of fun cooking & bbq. Thursday night we're going down to San Antonio for the Austin vs San Antonio Taco Rumble! Can't wait to stuff myself silly down there!
Anyways figured I'd check in, see how you're doing, and drop some food porn on ya!

And I got my new hand forged roaster for my pizza oven and promptly put it to work with some hatch chili & chicken enchiladas. I've made this recipe dozens of times and this was the best they ever came out. Not sure if it was the open fire or the roaster but damn they were good and went fast!

have a great weekend everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Listen to this guy telling us he's gonna show us what's up!!!!! bring it on...... honestly after those photos you dropped who would even wanna try and compete!!!
.
seriously bro... i'm kinda speechless... have you ever thought about becoming a personal chef for someone? think about it... you and your wife could just cook a couple meals a day for some uber rich family.
those enchiladas are the most rustic and delicious looking ones i've ever seen... better looking than any mexican meal i've ever had.
we had the same meal on the fourth weekend!!! different cut of beef, but lawwwstaw, corn, and potato.. even had the green onion and sour cream!!!!!!
i've eaten carne asada tacos in san diego and houson... what cut is it? is it what we call strip steak?
.
so i looked into those crystal extractions and they say they just flash freeze the buds and keep them below zero degrees during the entire extraction process which i assume is a sift type method down to the purest of form.... i'd sure love to see how its done man... stuff is amazing!!!!
that is great news on your seedlings man!!! my garden kinda took a backward slide... dude, when i moved the CLW led over to the flower cabinet it ruined the veg area. veg plants stretched ridiculous out of control with little to no side branches and just sad looking overall.... so a few days ago i moved it back and put the veg program back on. it was fantastic in flowering though too... less stretch in flower and the arc harvest i just had was very sexy looking.
i hope i don't jinx myself at all but so far no males at all!!!!!
sorry to hear about the yellow jackets man... they're brutal in every form!!
have an awesome week man!!!!!!!!!
well?!?!?!?!?! pics or it didn't happen!!!!!!!!!!! hahahahahahahaha

Beer can chicken, my first one, one of many to come it was great
Holy shit brother!!!!!!! That ice cream deal looks and sounds awesome, that BC chicken will not be the last, the wife will never stand for it < lmao> it was great, and Mr luv I luv STUBBS ANYTHINGYa know man it's funny because so many times at tailgates people have offered to buy food from me but I just give it away. I think if it was my job I wouldn't love it as much. Kinda like growing weed
But yeah when I get time off, I go off playing with fire and food.
That roaster pan is awesome and yep anything I make in it will have this rustic old world look to it. It was hand forged by a blacksmith at Smithey Ironware. It's carbon steel and in it's previous life before being melted down was a truck axle hahaha!
Around here carne asada is usually called skirt steak or flank steak but yeah it's the same thing as strip. Marinate for a few days then a quick sear is all it takes. Delicious!
Fluffy Butts sure look happy! The aint liking DJ right now and will probably give me the stink eye too after I drop this yard bird on the grill pic
Man I think we both did a BC chicken on the same day but I didn't take pics!
I loaded mine with a 3/4 full Shiner Bock and added some rosemary, tyme, garlic, and jalapeno then dusted the bird with garlic and pepper.
I see you like Stubbs huh? That's a local joint here and it just so happens my job is having it's staff appreciation bbq there in two weeks. I'll see if I can get you the whole Stubbs line of rubs & sauce and send it out to ya!

A shot of last nights work on the pellet grill. A few minutes later the chicken parts were placed in 3 different foil trays and drenched in different bbq sauces then left to simmer then rest.
Also in there is a tray of oyster rockies and beef & garlic sausage

And here's where I take my victory lap on you suckas.....Mutha Truckin' home made, sugar free peach ice cream!!!!
Still working on my waffle cone game but my home made ice cream game is already solid and it's so ez to make!!! All I have in there is whole milk, heavy whipping cream, Mexican vanilla extract, and a half shot of vodka so it keeps a firm soft serve consistency rather than freezing into a solid block that can break a scooper. I'm using a Cuisinarte ice cream maker. Gotta freeze the mixer over night then mix and chill ingredients for a couple hours but after that it goes from liquid to ice cream in 20 minutes
I'm gonna get crazy with this and do a strawberry rhubarb. strawberry basil, and a Mexican chocolate with cinnamon and cayenne pepper

Holy shit brother!!!!!!! That ice cream deal looks and sounds awesome, that BC chicken will not be the last, the wife will never stand for it < lmao> it was great, and Mr luv I luv STUBBS ANYTHING
ya know man, i just need to become your neighbor.... there is no way you and your wife are eating all that food on the grill... i mean all that greatness ain't enough, you gotta make some baked potatoes with it all!!!!!!
i would have perfect timing too, i mean how could you not smell that!!!!! i sure could go for a double helping of those grilled oysters!!!!
so vodka in the ice cream to keep it soft, do you taste it at all? booze would ruin it for me i think... depends on the mood i guess.
damn i gotta go buy some oysters now....
if you guys wanna try a new place.... sloppy 2nds from the hawg house is always a great choice. just like you with stubbs where every variety is killer thats how this place is. but if ya gotta choose just one, their peach bourbon is on another level kind of flavor!!!!

i got the purple punch already today!!!!!!! probably the fastest seed order to date! i dropped two of them tonight and i'll keep y'all posted..
i've really been struggling with my cloner... just no luck, limp soggy stems and never a root.. so the other day i cleaned it all out and refilled it and put new nozzles in with a tighter spray, after looking at all i think maybe my pump is loosing it's it's umph.. i might need to buy a bigger one. but for now i just have the outside row getting sprayed and it is way more of a mist and more oxygen in the res now. but i should still look into a new pump. they seem to only last a couple years anymore.
wow these california chrome pump out some big as leaves!!!

And yeah I’m gonna look into that company for some new rubs! Thanks for that brother.
now I’ve got to get on my firewood pile.
you guys have a great week!!!!!
Basically been Farmer up until last ten years.
This year all except my Blueberries was a no go. Have a few Chickens. Got a Trout stream, Deer we get a share cleaning some.
Do raise some Mushrooms more for my Eggs than anything. LOL
Health has put me down.

Man those buds look like pure fire!
Pumps are crap these days. I remember my first Little Giant pump...bought in the late 90s and it worked until 2008. Now you buy one and lucky to last a full year.
Dude I love oysters so dang much! Raw, grilled, or fried I will destroy them! IDK if you have a whole foods market near you but the stores here have live oysters and will shuck them for you while ya wait. I'll get 18 for a lunch maybe 2x a month!
CC like to get big bro...hope ya have the space hahaha!!
Yeah the vodka is pretty much like an antifreeze. I use a half shot glass full per 1.5 quarts of ice cream mix so it gets dilluted really well and there's no flavor or anything from it. I'm churing a batch of chocolate almond right now tinkering with that recipe. I used unsweet and natural cocoa so it will be raw in flavor so I might end up using chocolate milk or powder mix to give it a sweeter flavor. I'm trying to avoid using the gawdy amount of sugar ice cream recipes typically have after we had some all natural horchata ice cream at the taco rumble last week. It just tasted so real and pure so I'm going for that flavor in my home made batches
Oh and speaking of rubs and sauces...y'all gotta check out Meat Church. They have a rub called Deez Nuts honey pecan rub that is just crazy good!
Take it ez brother and have a good week man! Back to the work grind here but I've been taking pics of my new grow so might find time to post a new journal here on the Farm.
Oh and ya hear? We're leaving the Big 12 and heading over to the SEC! Not sure what will happen to WVU and the others. Kinda hope they get into the ACC for a more natural fit and renewed rivalries against Pitt, VA, and VaTech. As for the rest...fuck 'em. Especially Baylor. They can go pound sand
Yeah I’m whooped out, fuckering firewood, View attachment 1150964so no cook pron tonight, I’m out of gas!!!!! Y’all have a great week
