Touching or stroking plants can cause them to increase their defense mechanisms, which may possibility affect cannabinoid levels, but I doubt that the buds would actually grow larger as a result.

All jokes aside I'm still gonna have to test it out on at least one plant next grow just for the hell of it. If it some how in a miracle works then hell ya. If not o well. Only way to rule it out 100% is to test it out. I'll have a thread started by mid february that I will update weekly. I'll make sure to post the link on this thread as well.

Wasnt my idea. I heard it from somebody who supposedly been growing 20+ years and attended the oaksterdam university college for weed. But I will get to the bottom of this.

So, do you take the resin off your stroking hand and reapply it back to the flower?? lmao You get bigger size after stroking though, huh, wonder if it shoots out more resin if you stroke it enough?;)

I know, I read the whole thread..and ive spoke to you enough to know it wasnt your idea, its a good laugh though....also i don't believe anyone with 20 years growing experience would pay to go to "oaksterdam" ....that would be like me paying some school to to learn how to ride a bike again....that school was made to capitalize on the flood of people wanting to break into the field in hope of making money, stupid people like housewives or someone with minimal experience ....20 years is a long time to be growing and by that time someone could be the professor there....,his background sounds fishy at the least...

Fact is, once you have been growing for a while and truly understand environment and how plants grow, the quest for massive buds by way of trick or magic nutrient goes away...you will learn what good grow practice is and buds will reward you because they are healthy...every grower goes through this lesson and laughs when they look back to their "bud stroking" days..

For sure. Many valid points. That oaksterdam thing is kinda like a hipster marijuana bandwagon thing? I can see it, never considered it. Sometimes it takes one of you guys to open my eyes up. But ill admit it, I got the noob thing goin down on my end. Kinda clogs up my thoughts with dumb stuff.

I've been growing for longer than a lot of people on this forum have BEEN. I'd go to Oaksterdam University in a heartbeat- after all, I'm not arrogant enough to think I know it all, not even about growing.
