The Silver is doing ok, (6.9Ph) It's the OG Kush that I'm concerned about (7.2pH) Interesting to see if the Tea will do it's thing here soon ...

And in just 4 hours since applying the bioactive tea (I watered the ladies today during my lunch).... 7.2pH dropped to 6.8pH ...AWESOME. We'll see how the plants respond.

Trimming for deeper light penetration. You can't tell in the photos but the Silver HAze is really deep green right now.. ahh I got 6 weeks to go, should be alright.

Silver is still holding good, the finicky one is the OG Kush..lol, the rumors were true about it. Gonna let the soil dry back a few days or so. see how they react to that. The Kush will be getting some TPS potassium next watering, gonna leave the Silver alone, depending how well she responds to the cal mag I gave her today. And we topped the soil with some more straw.

dam I'm wishing that other SIlver seed popped... sigh, thinking back I could've scrogged this one Silver out to the whole tent. Oh well. I'm gonna grow the SUper Silver HAze again next summer. Relic had a sale of it's pre 98' SUper Silver HAze. SHould get some decent females out of that pack.

Thanks, I'm hoping to have them ready for the flip by the time I harvest this current grow. I was told that the Silver is a finicky plant but it's just cruising along (knock on wood) the Kush is the finicky plant, it's my third try at it and each time I've gotten marginally better results, that's the finicky one but I think I have a handle on it now. Just a little to late to do anything about it now. We'll see, if I ever grow it again I'm gonna dump a gang of nutes in the pots instead of being so conservative. The Silver doesn't need much love, and it's getting sticky wicky, seems like it's gonna be a 10 week flower for the Silver. That would be at the end of September ,

We have a ways to go. I'm figuring ways into dropping the night time humidity in this tent. I'd like to see it hit at least 50%. And a little concerned with the OG Kush. Don't think it's gonna make it... lol. we're half way into flower and she's looking worse for the wear. I was thinking she didn't have enough Phosphorus but after talking to an experienced grower he said I had to much of it ... So gonna follow his advice and not mess with the Silver, just add water to her and feed the OG Kush a light nitrogen and K solution. So bubbling in the garage is another earthworm tea, this time filled with a little Langbeinite (0-0-22). Earthworm castings are a 1-0-0 feed so should be good not overdoing it.

Got called off work for the flooded streets today. Tropical storms are no joke. Thought the wind was gonna rip my roof off. The city workers were out first thing this morning cleaning up. That led me to some time for a little catching up to do on my tent. I started with the ducting hose idea at the bottom. Had to move some stuff around (aka cleaning). I'm hoping when I close the tent that the xtra air flow will help keep humidity under 50. It was 63 last night but considering the tropical storm..maybe I'm overreacting?

I then checked on the RUntz I've since moved to the tent, I know it, I'm a softy, can't leave these little guys out by the window on their own. And as luck would have it only one popped..lmfao.. whats going on here, I double checked the seed and it was pushed down about 2 inches into the cup! Seed looked healthy still so I replanted near the surface.

After that I started to do some trimming underneath the ladys, I can't stand popcorn weed so a lot got taken out from the bottom. I don't think the Silver needs much trimming and on advice from a seasoned grower here am leaving the Silver alone, kinda, lol. just not as much as I did to the OG Kush. These plants are looking like they are ready to start fattening up here soon.

I seemed to have been overdoing it with the kelp and other amendments, The SIlver Haze is going through a lockout. pH of the soil checks out at 6.2, it's in between the suggested area of 6-7pH for soil. So here's my conundrum. I've been told and read that in an organic soil, you don't need to water to runoff because we don't use salt based nutrition. And we know what happens when salt builds up in the soil, lockout. So not using bottled nutrition I'm baffled as to why I'm going through a lock out at the moment. All I can think of at the moment is the high nitrogen problem I was having in VEG. Per the list below excess nitrogen will block out calcium and phosphorus. A salt build up will block out almost everything.

Just to try something I watered this morning to runoff. Took 2 gallons of water to get me some runoff out of the pot. I used my wet vac to vacuum the water from the drip pan. I'm sorry guys I'm trying here, maybe we can right the ship, still got 6 weeks to go, I've had grows where all the leaves had falln and some buds were still there to harvest so keeping my head high here.

Quick note, I did turn the humidifier off couple days ago, just turned it back on, see if we can slow this down with that.
