Was your experience with foliar spraying, or did you fertigate the triacontanol? And may I ask the dosages you tried? Did you mix it from a pure powder, or was this a store bought product? Thanks for the interesting feedback. In my experience genetics and environmental conditions make quite a bit of difference ......all the Indica dominant strains I've used triacontanol on have stayed nice and dense,as well as most hybrids,Sativa dominants that tend to
have looser colas have foxtailed on me when using triacontanol past week 4 of flower.... in my environment, cooler flower room temps helped curtail the foxtailing somewhat.
I do not use triacontanol on Sativa dominant strains past week 2 now
and have tight, dense colas on them again.....
I have ran triacontanol on White Bubba and Sledgehammer Bubba til week 6 with no ill effects
Hopefully some real research will be done in this area,as some of us are having very good results on some strains with triacontanol in flower

How does one dust roots with nute pack? Just asking because mine are extremely moist like wet sand at the beach is this ok ? I just assumed it was. Should I let them sit open and dry out?
You can also mix it with dechlor water in a bowl and dunk rooted cuts. This way is highly effective, since the nute pack should be applied as early as possible.
So if I'm brewing a tea just to feed the roots/plant should I only be using only the root pack? And if I'm planning on foliar spraying/root drench I can use both root and foliar pack? The nute pack should be applied earlier on in the veg stage to colonize later in the flower stage...just wanna make sure I'm understand correctly and using them the right way. Because right now I feel like I'm wasting a lot...
Word, that's what I was thinking. Thanks for the confirmation Cap. I'm 17 days in, I should have a couple more foliar applications to load up on the bennies before I cut out the foliar.
For the root pack, can I brew a tea, then add it to my jacks nute mix? Will the salts and ph of 5.8/5.9 harm the bennies? I was feeding a couple times then doing a flush with worm tea, but I don't like the fact the plants aren't being feed for the couple days the pots are drying from the tea.
Will the brew recipe have a significant impact on PPM? I ask because somehow I brewed the recipe respectively and I got 600+ PPM coming out of my brewer? If you say no- then something went wrong with the brew process. Yikes.
Don't worry about the ppms of your tea Fresh Starts.

So is it normal to have 600+ PPM register on a .5 conversion pen
from the tea? I wonder whats in there is all.
I tried to mix jacks fertilizer into a tea batch and it had really high PPMs registering. Next time I guess I'll mix jacks in plain water first then add tea.
Thank you for being to attentive to this topic.
PPM meters REALLY are terrible at accurate measurements in systems with even 3 or 4 different types of ions. In something like a tea they are totally unreliable. They just don't work.
Happy to explain why if you're interested.
