Not sure the possibility of the split unit hanging in the tent, this winter our goal is to figure out our cooling for next summer. I dont really want to shut them down again for 2 months next year...

Go check out Sentinel high power relays there are little units that come in 220v and 120v with triger cords to hook up to your controller. You can hook the relay up to the breaker then have the triger cord turn the over power AC so your breaker wont keep poping

Huh? Did I say my breaker keeps popping? I don't think I did, because it doesn't happen. Yes, the controller can't handle more than a 15 amp load, so yes, I use relays. I stick with the CAP gear, instead of Sentinel...nothing personal!
