Ya know farmers, The Wizard Of Oz IMO is one of the best movies ever made. Way back in the 40s, the acting is top notch, the roles played, the actors, sets all still amazing.
get real baked and watch sometime.....

G'Morning y'all. It's been raining off & on since yesterday, so inside I am. Considering this is supposed to be "dry season" I say let it rain!
CM, that's why they call it fishing & not catching.;) Gotta admit I'm spoiled by fishing the flats in the Gulf of Mex. Some of the bait even have teeth.:wideyed: It's a rare day to get skunked down here. But seeing as you caught a buzz...:D

Skunked or a 30 fish day, it's all good.
Was just me an a otter who was playing in a pool did not seem scared just swam around checking me out...
I fish the same section, 10 miles up and 10 miles down, know it pretty well, never the same each day, always real different...
always pristine beauty, no trash, not many people, eagles, hawks, geese, duck, cranes, billions and billions of aquatic insects hatching and you don't even know unless you look close.
couple times a month we shroom awesome experience. The fish look electric, the rocks and rippled water all are enhanced and energy level goes shy high....
at days end you wonder WTF???? the day seemed over in about an hour....
Got to butcher chickens today, hate to kill my friends, but that life on the farm. We provided them with a good life and in return the nurture us, better here than a factory farm...

You gonna get me started on the Wizard of Oz? Let's just say that I couldn't stand it anymore, got the DVD set for our granddaughter, and she's watched it so often we've lost count. She's in love with "Tinny" as she's renamed him, The Tin(can) Man. We got her a doll and she croons to him. Of course, now that she's with Tinny, she's no longer available for St. Francis, who's been her boyfriend since she was about 2yo. They're both too old for her, I keep tryin' to tell her, but it didn't matter to her when I would say, "You're 4, he's 400!" Now she's 6 and she's ready for the world.

It's become impossible to watch without becoming completely and totally verklempt.

Good morning Farm, still lightly raining this morning. Finally got a little of the rain we needed :) Just watched the morning ski report and it looks like the Sierra will get a good blast. I should go up for some skiing. Going to do a little chopping later today. Day 70 for some Chemdog 91 SK VA and looks ready. Have a great day everyone.

My daughter watched the Wizard of Oz so many times when she was little that one of my parrots sings part of "Over the Rainbow". I always say I need the tin mans oil can when the arthritis is really bad myself:-/

About 7 inches of snow here which is sooo unusual for us. Pretty but would rather it was somewhere else! Hubby is home from work, daughter's winery is closed due to the weather so the house is fuller than usual at this time of the day.

Boo...I have got to say that is one gorgeous GSD you have there! My absolute favorite breed:-)

thank you itg...he's my pride and joy...certified as a therapy dog, servive dog, protection dog, and active aggression dog...I trained him to protect me, the truck, the house, and whatever else he is charged with...I got killer genetics...he pulled a 200 pound maw dressed in a bite suit into the back window of the truck...he'd pretty hard core when turned on...

I used to breed coated (long haired shepherds.) I am still crushed at the passing 7 years ago of my beloved Strider, not a day goes by that I do not remember him lovingly and miss him still like it was yesterday. We have a gorgeous guy now, Zeus who we rescued from a kill shelter. We did not train him for protection as we have very few concerns in that regard but he is a smart happy guy and we love him dearly:-)

My dog, Hazel, a ridgeback/pittie mix, is lying here bubbling away. This is definitely one of the more useless dogs I've ever had. You know what she did as I was being tied up? Licked my fucking head. The guy had to throw another dog biscuit OUT the door to get her out of his way.

Still raining here in the Northstate.
I was at a Halloween Circus/Street Party in Mendocino a few years ago. Seemed like the whole town was there in costume watching the circus acts and listening to the band. As all this was going on The Wizard of Oz was being projected though the cloud of refer smoke up on the side of a building. It was so surreal!....and awesome :)

My dog would bark until the crook gives her a snack and that's it. She would spend the rest of the time following the crook looking for more snacks :)
