Get almost done with the digging part and CRACK, wheel barrow handle breaks. $45 to fix (2 handles, nuts, bolts, braces) $50 for a new cheaper designed unit or $85 for a fair quality one.

There goes the savings.

Upgrade to a pull behind cart for your rider mower! Thats what I did. Found it on craigs list for an even$100 and the guy delivered it. can hold a shit ton of water/mulch/etc.

Oh dear...that much be a lot of pressure LG:-( Glad to hear you woke up though:-))

Lots to be done in my world today but I promised my youngest daughter I would help bottle wine at her winery today for 4 hours so that intrudes quite a bit. Get free excellent wine out of the deal though so it is still a win. The pressure of all the stuff that still needs to be done to open our doors and turn on our lights is building though....WOW! I need about 3 of me just to keep it all straight. Wake up hot tub always helps though:-) Many blessings to you all today!

Light rain in Mid Desert. (not quite high, not quite low) No wind. Got a crock pot of beans on for dinner, a pot of rice on for fried rice lunch and Im about to go start digging. Mother Nature provided free dust control today. Want to get that ground open and let'er soak in where I need it.

After paying for the fencing, posts, et al. , and money set aside for compost, I cant afford to fix or buy new wheelbarrow so its a good thing I have buckets, maybe I can budget it in next month

Hot tub sounds good. Think I will fire mine up and get her hot for the weekend.

Great Idea, we set up a golf cart like that for mom so she can get around the yard and putter.

Now if I only had a riding mower... or a lawn... :P

Good morning people. Was raining hard in the bay and people don't know how to drive. Just seen a fatal accident. Man I need to move closer to work and avoid the city bridges.....

@justblazen Move to Oakland JB! Helluva lot closer at least. Especially if you find a place closer to the san mateo bridge. You may even want to check out hayward. Housing is pretty affordable there.

Enjoying the clean air....

Rained all night & the sun is shining! Pulled out the Volcano to have some some clean medicine.
It still provides milk mist in the bag after 8 faithfull years...

Stay Safe

Should pick up just in time for the motorcycle ride to work

I love riding in the rain. A little less when I am expected to be clean when I get off the bike, but still a blast.

I had one similar to that boo but it was blue and orange i think, the one i had was from the AMF years and was made by aermacchi in italy, the original pit bike!I dont recognize the badge on your tank though,is that a shriners symbol or something?plenty of those used as parade bikes by shriners.

Much love to all. Hoping for everyone's day to be fulfilled to satisfaction, Workin hard on mine. Lots to do everyday.
Some days of sunshine ahead here. The cycle starts all over again. Time to get the lawn tractors out, sharpen the blades, fill em with gas and startem. The tractor needs work. Gotta take the carburetor off and send it off to Alabama to get a total recondition and rebuild.
At least the Blackberries have been assaulted instead of the other way around.
The County has been dumping fill on the worst area and has pretty much covered all the berries with over 1,000 yards of soil all the way down the road. The south 40 LOL had a shit ton but they also took down a bunch there to do some work. They made a nice gravel driveway while they were at it. :D.
Smoked a bowl here this AM. The creek is substantially higher right now, hmmm about 4'. It gets rolling so hard you can feel reverberation from the massive boulders crashing against each other in your chest, 100 yards away on my porch.

G'Evening,y'all. Were back from checking on our parents. All is as good as it gets for 90+ years old. We are just happy to still have them around. Now it's time to get back to chores & growing.
