It's probably been over-roasted, then. The Kona, that is. I don't care for it, I think it's grossly overhyped, I've had MUCH better, and much less costly, coffees by now. Anyway, the darker it's been roasted the less caffeine remains. ;)I cannot get this trader joe's Kona coffee to be strong enough! It's just way mellow, still good though but doesn't make the wee turtleheads poke ou if ya know whatimsayin.

Ethiopian is some of the best, absolutely agree. :DI prefer the TJ's Ethiopian, seamaiden. . . The Kona is "tourist Kona" just like if you get Blue Mountain anywhere but ON the mountain, it ain't gonna be the real deal.
