Skunk #1 was originally by Sacred Seeds I believe and it was a 3 way cross between
Afghani, Columbian Gold and Acapulco Gold.
Sensi acquired cuttings and continued breeding. So I'm assuming it is the closest to original.
A lot of Skunk varieties were bred from this lineage which is mostly sativa.
And I'm from Cali, and I too remember the monster outdoor skunk you could smell at 1000 ft from the early 80's!

I lived in Ramona for a minute. Had a friend who lived there for years. Waterman was his name. Played on the bullpups. I still know the guy but he lives in Arkansas now.

Well, today is a big day at the S.D. farm!
Time is up for these ladies, it's been 11 weeks of flower!
Tricomes are begging to be vapped!
At noon today will be 36 hours of darkness, we've got our scissors, nitrile
gloves and trim bins ready and drying lines streached.
Actually this is my least favorite time of grow as the arthritis rears its ugly head and cramping insues.
It usually takes the wife and I 6 + hours to pull down a crop. Then a couple more to break down the grow and clean up.
A full day for sure!

Cool, I'm chopping today after work. I'm not gonna put in too much work though, just the big fans then hang whole. Trying it different this time.

I haven't done a grow without a net for a long time so haven't done a whole plant chop.
I do kind of miss that method but I like keeping my canopy only 2 feet thick.

Wow! I'm terrified right now of my upcoming first harvest in a few weeks. Only two plants, also!

Yeah, just the hanging tops took 4 hours.
We're still working on everything else.
It all goes on racks to be used mostly for decarbed oil and such.

A 1/2 gram of oil on hot toast and butter makes for a very wonderful day!

I love you grow man! I just wanted to throw out a suggestion, I have always hang dried, like for decades. A couple finishes ago I went to “my herbs now” (name is laughable I know) dryers. I bought three of them with extra shelves to help with my outdoor harvest. I was simply shook by the results. 96 hours and I had perfectly dried flower. I tossed it all in jars as always and I have yet to have such a perfect cure. I have since used it every harvest. I make sure I have a delta in my room so the machines can work properly (lower temp higher humidity) and have had continued success. I mention this because after reading through 7 pages I see you have most of your grow nicely locked down. Drying and curing is often the biggest pia. This has made my life so much better, and takes up so much less space. I just suggest you check them out . I went all in and got the “gangster” package. I was desperate for a solution at the time and have been really happy with the product. If you have seen any of my posts you know I am not afraid to speak the truth about my experiences with different companies.

Thanks, I try!

Those driers look like my dehydrator's I use for food.
Same shape too.
Sounds like a interesting device, I would need more than 3 though.
Harvest is not my funnest hobby.
