How did you handle the topping before you put them under the screen? I was thinking about attempting a mainline kinda thing on this run for eight colas, but you have me thinking about taking the first cut above the 4rth for a Four-Way LST kinda thing?

You give me way to much credit Happy, but I really appreciate your help and encouragement! I thought about switching to an A and B nute like Canna or H&G, but I felt that by the end I had the number for these girls with GH Flora nutes. I'm about to find out.

The new baby girls will be three weeks old on Monday. I sprouted them in the new clone/mother tent and had em under the T5 for about 10 days, then put them under the MH after I harvested the two mature plants. I'll run two of these girls, and I'm gonna try and take cuttings on this round. Low RH is really hampering me right now, but this too shall pass. :)

Hey I've ran this strain a few times and it is a cal mag hog, like most og/chem/diesel strains. I'd recomend adding some to the soil each time you transplant, after the first time anyway, dont wanna burn the seedling/ small clones. Keep your nutrient concentrations low to medium, theyre kind of sensitive but do well when you find the sweet spot. I grow organic and just added some tea mix to the soil and a couple other things and I found they stayed nice and happy. I also found that they respond quite well to topping and If you can keep your temps up, they like smart pots as well, I see youre using them. I ran two clones side by side (they were identical till they went into their final pots. the one in a 3 gallon smart pot yielded the same as the one in the 5 gallon plastic pot. It even had bigger, nicer nugs

Thanks for taking the time to share your insights, Pinapple207. That is helpful information. RG worked it out as a cal-mag issue on his run as well, which kind of surprised me. But the more I thought about it, the more it made sense.

The first thing I did when my problems started with that one plant was try and add more calmag, but when I did, I would end up with rapid salt buildup and more lockout. For this run I shelved the Calimagic and went back to CaMg+ for the 0-0-0 profile. I think I may need the wiggle room of not dealing with any extra Nitrogen while running 6/9. Can’t hurt!

Not too bad, RG. They were slower to turn up on this run. Lower RH in the winter around here may have contributed to that, along with my bringing them on very, very carefully on this run. Don't want to burn the shit out of em like I did last time. I selected two last week. I'm going for the taller pheno again. They seem to have finally taken a shine to this world and are showing that familiar vigor. Feeding at about .5 EC right now. Dialed up H3ad 6/9 again, and this time I won't monkey with the ratios. Changed out my calmag, as I mentioned to Pineapple-207, and cut the concentration of additives. Topping them in a day or two. Any tips or insights from you are always welcome, man. I know the strain expresses itself better than my last run if I just get myself straight, so here we go again!

Looking great CV! Good to see ya have another crack at them I think it's a strain worth dialling in before ya chuck it! Sounds like you've got your plan set out and I reckon it will be flawless this time :D
Looking at your 2 girls they look very similar in phenos and I think I had one of them amongst my lot, tight nodes very symmetrical side branching all together a tight plant? From what I learnt with mine was after topping they need a little extra veg to get all the other branches to catch up and will defo benefit from a net or screen! ;)

Will be taking them to 10 weeks + I reckon but if they need more so be it lol although one is showing super tight nugs and could be ripe at 9 the rest I'm assuming are Sour D dom? I'll get some nug pics up for ya at the weekend bro let's rock this Sour Kush shit! :D

I'm really impressed with those tops on your girls, RG. You got a nice canopy on your PE grow too, even without the screen. Don't want to get into a screen right now, but I do want to work on managing the canopy more efficiently.

This will be my first grow where I'm living with it in a long time so hopefully I can get things order. I gave up my cutting of SK in a trade for green crack and bubba kush x white rhino clones, only to have my caretaker lose them in a power outage and have recently reaquired a cutting off the original SK clone I traded away. I guess it wanted me to run it again.

I plan on it, I've got a couple clones going now, I had to nurse them back but they're starting to take off. Yeah it was RP, or I'm like 90% sure it is. The guy I got the first clones from was running a bunch of RP strains when I got them.
