Yeah man physio sorted me right out. Hasnt gone out in 3 months, knock on wood.No doubt he has taught me a thing or 2 and he is always open to debate which is where the learning is.
Glad to hear that. Hows that back doing? Get it all sorted?
Good shit!!!Yeah man physio sorted me right out. Hasnt gone out in 3 months, knock on wood.
Hahaha, looking through my pics just now I realized that bud is actually from the grow before the last one lol, Oy... hard to keep track of all this weed hahaha.Haha you must have missed it, Hydro was my last grow. I used rockwool Hugo's lol. Was an awesome if undersized crop, had to flip them sooner than I'd have liked cause I was going to Mexico.
Grew some amazing buds! Here is a couple pics from that cycle. It was in a different grow diary called dirtbags hydroponics thread.lol
Havent done DWC, but probably not going to now that I found coco...View attachment 965023View attachment 965024
Well it looks prime afHahaha, looking through my pics just now I realized that bud is actually from the grow before the last one lol, Oy... hard to keep track of all this weed hahaha.
Thanks man. Here is the pics from the hydro grow lol... Turned out really nice, but like I said They got flipped early and didnt get as big as I'd have liked. But strong nevertheless.Well it looks prime af
Yep I found mega to be ok on that front but its got a decent amount of K. Im gonna do some testing in the future. The more I learn the more I lean to a week before flower till bud onset. Still been reading while not growing. The issue is you won't know till it's to late in my mind so run it out and adjust next run kinda deal in my mind. That's the only bitch is the different base nutes we all use. Thanks man. Here is the pics from the hydro grow lol... Though looking back through the pics, the P somewhat, and especially K def is noticable.View attachment 965062View attachment 965063View attachment 965064View attachment 965065View attachment 965066
This has me curious. How often do you run them?Observation #42 about this grow..
Every time I use enzymes, the ppm of the runoff spikes a couple days later. Take that as a sign its breaking down salt buildup in the media? Not sure. But it's a pain... lol. Running the transition flush now.
Every 2-3 weeks or so, but especially during transition and after the stretch. This has me curious. How often do you run them?
Wonder if more often with less may be beneficial. I very curious to get an answer on this. I mean it makes sense as enzymes will loosen bonds in a round about way but I need to sit down a few days and do some reading. Dammit... I can't not know the answer... This sucks. Would be huge if this is the case and save a lot of coco ppl a lot of trouble.Every 2-3 weeks or so, but especially during transition and after the stretch.
@PipeCarver, that's actually a perfect situation where an enzyme flush should help. Drench the media with enzymes, and next watering flush it all out with plenty of runoff using a moderately low nutrient solution until runoff numbers are close to input.

What brand of enzymes if ya don't mind sharing?
Yeah I used hygrowzyme my last grow and was actually pretty impressed. Have to say I was pretty skeptical at first. Good to know I'm gonna have to check it out. It's called Enzymes Komplete. It's the stuff my bud recommended, he says its similar to the old hygrozyme but better whatever that means. I never used hygrozyme before.
@jaguarlax I use it a 8 ml per gallon mixed with the nutrient solution, and just enough to soak the media once, then back to regular nutrient solution sans enzymes.
Not sure if low dose regular would work as well, I think this stuff needs to be at a certain concentration to be effective.
ive been using sensizym from advanced, kind of expensive, and not as complete as the one @Dirtbag is talking aboutYeah I used hygrowzyme my last grow and was actually pretty impressed. Have to say I was pretty skeptical at first. Good to know I'm gonna have to check it out.
Yup. A buddy advised me to tweak my nutes a bit. He recommends I hit them with pk by combining pbp grow and pbp soil bloom which is 1-4-5 at a 70/30 ratio, starting a week before flip until end of stretch, then go back to the grow nutes and dial down total ppm for weeks 4-7, then dial down ppm further and switch back to the 1-4-5 for week 8, going in at 350ppm or so.
So far I'm noticing my plants are looking stronger, specifically the stems. And the node stacking is unreal.
Think I will try that on the next round I flip and see whats's what. I've heard that before but i'm so anti P lol.
Insane. Ordering my coco right now. So glad i came across this while i was thinking about running coco cause this sealed the f-in deal for me.Unreal... Yesterday and today. Notice the electrical outlet on the back wall. Gives you an idea of how much they grew since yesterday. Pardon the smokey appearance to the lights out pic. Just blazed one in here mixing up nutes lol..

Been there done that. Suggest hydrobuddy if you go that routeJust wondering if any of you went down the path of making your own Nutes, very easy to adjust to the needs of the plant, cycle or medium your using.
