Yeah Shady the trellis that had been built for this round I ran into/over with my waggy(long story short...way stoned moving toys all around during winter cleanup on the farm), and due to no funds to put back into that project, twine was hung from ceiling in 1 fugged up pattern...so yes a trellis WILL be constructed again for the next round....Im looking forward to more of a jungle and not a bonsai garden with the Grape Ape were running next!!!!

Well well we have reached the end....no sorry no pics, patients came in like a tornado and swept it all away, and I dont get in their way......sorry but due to time and so many projects and patients , and that wonderful outodoor season prep I wont be documenting anymore UC grows, if it even gets used again.......per patient requests ,and they are the only ones that matter by the way, I will be going back to my soil & coco/rice hull mixes but may use the UC as a quick veg tool. I want to experiment a little to see if I can successfully veg large and quick in the UC ,then transplant to my special mixes for both outdoor and my new indoor ventures.
I also need to get out way too many cuts out to a whole crap load of patients, as well as some finalizing of my homemade pollen chucking experiments, so thanks for joining me on this experiment, went ok but not all that and a bag of chips......but a nice out of box toy if you got the bucks!!!!

RMCG....it is becoming a common theme....Im not dissing the UC as I cant , I havent got any experience with these units except the diesel run....as far as my choice to change...PATIENTS have stated that my soil grows and a few runs with a 70/30 mix of coco/rice hull produced the quality and true flavors with a much more dense and vibrant flower, I thought that the diesel came out just fine, just a little airier than past but not any issue from the patients, they just are picky and I dont blame them, I grow for them, plain and simple.
JH59, sorry no weights from me bro...I dont do that kind of thing, the patients do sometimes relay what they got, I dont gauge this by anything but what the patients feel is fair for what they put into it, they put in some work and we all split costs , and so far we havent had to walk into any club/collective/dispensary/place of thievery to purchase anything but clones(i hate it but patients again want choices) and seed stock(this I do love to do), and all the patients are well stocked year round, and they all believe it has been worth every penny spent.
So if I had to say realistically ,the grower error in flowering cost me of course(patients were informed and not mad at all), and the end result is probably around 1.5lbs , most likely less but again I am no judge of weights, so more like a pound!!!

A friend told me once while we looked at his storage full of used grow equipment of all kinds...."Well ..... once bought, but twice used....now that is still to be seen, and obviously not by me...got any cash!!!
Funny thing was too that all I wanted were his pots and dirt farmer stuff....nope he wouldnt sell that, he stated thats how he started growing and thats how he was going to finish growing!!!Amen brother!!!!!

So now that this log has sat and gotten all stale on us.....BUMP......final weight was 29oz's of decent bud...I cut them too early but the patients didnt care, they all got the high they were after....so I will go take pics of my next round...again Purple Diesel, but this time I had a little experiment I wanted to try...basically had a question so I answered it myself.....I had these PD cuts in a GroClone cloner(works just as good as anything else by the way), but as the roots emerged and grew, I never took them out so they veg'd awhile in the cloner and the roots got all entangled with each other, so I simply cut them apart, trimmed roots down, and placed in netpots full of Hydroton and top fed for 2 weeks till roots came out of the bottom and sides, now those same ladies are doing just fine, all but 1 have grown well over 18" and are super healthy, in fact the 1 of the 2 largest have now grown to over 38" tall and Im just done with the 1st week of flowering, so stretch should be done, and now Im dumping the veg nutes from the system and reupping to bloom nutes now, and again only using DM line, One grow, One flower, and DM Zone(no issues like others) , NOTHING ELSE, also no top off tank is being used as I am always around now!!!
I do shut off air for 1st 30 mins when adding Zone and I also do as many have stated not to and that is I add everything right into my epicenter, but it is prediluted(mixed into a little water then poured in) and not straight nutes/zone, other than that all is good, and this round I will turn the CO2 on for the next 3/4 weeks then slowly decrease to normal levels by flush/harvest....and yes the air pump will not be affecting my room/grow and CO2, it will be handled properly!!!
So I will get pics up shortly of the new round in motion.....sorry it wont be a complete grow log just pics of them currently as they thrive today!!!

Some of the room, the ladies on the right side all were the smallest @ average 4" when placed into UC, the center and left side all were larger, biggest being 19" when roots were hacked and dropped in UC....last being root porn to show the healthy roots!!! Enjoy!!!

had some doubts about it. maybe he didnt like it much either. Im wondering if quality is better in other mediums, etc. well i cant return it so i'll be doing a run in a month or two when my rooms empty.

Yeah Shady I had alot going on a few months back so a break was in order, now Im taking it easy and just getting as many projects up and running, even going to try some outdoor monsters this year..theres going to be alot more ladies growing up in this town this year...I'll never get rid of this system, and after seeing what it does by such an amateur as myself, why would I, so..... I will most likely get another setup, as well as complete the DIY set up we have collecting dust...come April or sooner we will be using the DIY unit, that system will be 12 - 8gal buckets but with only 1-1/2" piping (it was free and plentiful , and I have some uniseals same size), I will customize it to our room once I rearrange it all.

Oh crap almost forgot I was using this toy again

Im not much for pic taking and keeping precise notes, but here is the Purple Diesel 2nd run at day 29 of 12/12 only under 2k for now, as I setup a friend recently, and now I'm just 2 bloom rooms with 2k each flipped, 1 hydro and 1 soil(no thread), and a clone/mother/veg area. Im running PH 5.9, PPM 800, & 68*F water temp, room is 78*F and sometimes with a quick run of co2 its set to 86*F, other than that I just want this round to end so I can get something else in it, right now I am cloning & vegging Deadhead OG, PurkleDawg, & Grape Ape for the next run in this UC, and the other remaining will go in some used UC's and some DIY UC's as well, a log on those other units are not up to me so I wont be expecting a thread, but will sneak pics with permission when I can to update success and/or failure of these other units.On with the pics..and no I dont now how to grow, defoliate, lst,scrog or any of that, as you can see I top sometimes in veg and then let them loose, had a screen but ran the pvc frame over, and I am sure this will decrease my yield not using said methods, but hey its just some smoke for the head and all just an experiment for me, but will try some next round to improve my skill level and yields....I love being an amateur, no pressures!!!
