Started late veg maybe about a week-12 before flip. Theyre 2 weeks into flower now. I just fed with coconut water aloe photoplus and cytoplus. Cytoplus is all micros iron copper sulfur boron etc with humic and seaweed. Last week I hit them with a top dressing of worm power. I think all of the above would probably cover everything. Maybe its my water. Im using tap with a filter that filter vocs and chloramine and chlorine. Ill try r/o for a week and see what happens. Here a shot of them to show health condition

@Tnelz when u had aphids what did the symptoms look like?
Before I answer that if u have not seen them u probably don't have them imo. Outside of normal belief they are not a common thing. Def not where u are. U need to sacrifice one plant. If u don't u can kiss them all goodbye. But the first thing u notice is a mag def that can't be explained. Overall loss of vigor that can't be explained. Sacrifice a plant. U won't miss them if they are there. If they are pm the Addy I'll get u some merit asap.

@SeaF0ur well apparently ~25% of the cup entries, tested for mold/pm/mites... And still allowed to pass through to judging instead of the automatic DQ. Looks like they're bringing the same ole pay to play bullshit here. If you pile on the cash, then it doesn't matter how harming the entries may be.

I've taken in clones with red assed root aphids... didnt know it immediately... the cat I got the cut from started sayin he got fungus gnats from me in the trade (possible, I dont consider them pests) but when I went to his grow, it took me 2/10ths of a second to notice their rounded bulbous asses and long wings extending past that fat round ass so I knew immediately they were flying aphids... went home and saw a crawler in my veg box.... I never saw anything else... the roves got em....
I got a similar story about onion bulb mites...
for me, rove beetles are a mandatory part of my grow's "immune stsyem"

pimp, that looks like a mutation as opposed to insects... No serrations usually means photoperiod stress, but that looks like a mutation to me... generally grasshoppers and the like leave noticeable divots or chunks missing... I'm not aware of anything that goes smoothly along the edge of a leaf eating straight lines ... I'm leaning toward mutation in the leaves... I have seen a cleaner version of no serration mutation, but that was a whole plant doing it uniformly... yours looks like a stress mutation... but if it is a mutation, I dont think theres much to fix....

If you believe it is damage from grasshoppers, you might think to try a parasite like Nosema locustae...

That's not a grasshopper or cricket. Go to my grow diary 3rd last pic to see what that looks like. I'd repost it for u, but I'm on the iPad.

To me, it def looks like something eating it. One fan leaf is gone like a cricket, the rest are not, so I'd guess more than one type

I recently seen lil gnats here and there in my veg space. I kill them as quickly as possible.. Is this a sign that theyre in my soil?

If it's a gnat, no. If it's a flying aphid, then probably. They look similar. If u remind me tomorrow I have pics of dead ones I'll post (flying aphids caught in a trap)

I think ill go pick up yellow sticky traps. It seems to be getting worse..

Well I think the problem is root aphids. The wings on these dont have a gap and is longer than the body. Is there anything useful that you guys suggest that you've used?merit says it shouldnt be used in flower and im two weeks in.

What do you mean by tail pipes? @SpitXFire I was lookin at shit in detail today all day tryin to figure out and I been using mosquito bits and gnatrol for 3 weeks and these lil bitches that I thought was gnats is still around. Im pretty sure thats it. The wings are definetely longer than the bodies and have that wing on top of wing thing

If not im sure it wont hurt to treat for them im all out of thoughts on what it could be

well... if you've got aphid flyers, than one of your pots has become quite populated... I'd go about and disturb your soil a bit with a toothpick looking around.... if you find them, a nice healthy layer of diatomaceous earth or sand on top can kinda smother em and slow em until you can take the appropriate actions.

root aphid crawler...

Aphid marijuana conor

@gardnguyahoy fungus gnat larva can eat some very small young roots, but they prefer decomposing material.. not a big deal in my opinion... I consider the occasional one or two I see an indicator that my rove beetles still have food... flying aphids on the other hand signify that at least one pot is overrun and they are trying to spread their colony...
