I've always considered keeping the elliptical in the grow to do cardio and fill the room with co2, those machines are just too damn big.here's the fun part about IEQ testing (indoor environmental quality)... which is commonplace in HVAC
its given us some baseline numbers to work from...
Heres a calculator you can use for CO2
- 250 - 350 ppm - background (normal) outdoor air level
- 350- 1,000 ppm - typical level found in occupied spaces with good air exchange.
- 1,000 - 2,000 ppm - level associated with complaints of drowsiness and poor air.
- 2,000 - 5,000 ppm - level associated with headaches, sleepiness, and stagnant, stale, stuffy air. Poor concentration, loss of attention, increased heart rate and slight nausea may also be present.
- >5,000 ppm - this indicates unusual air conditions where high levels of other gases could also be present. Toxicity or oxygen deprivation could occur. This is the permissible exposure limit for non-prolonged daily workplace exposures.
- >40,000 ppm - this level is immediately harmful due to oxygen deprivation.

My real point is, if you live with your grow, adding CO2 is a waste of $...
theres a reason they used to say that plants liked to be "talked to"
the average adult’s breath contains about 35,000 to 50,000 ppm of CO2, exhaled in short bursts over time.
LOL...i have one i my bedroom.....i use it as a coat/clothes rack...hahahahaI've always considered keeping the elliptical in the grow to do cardio and fill the room with co2, those machines are just too damn big.
Just sold ours last yr,it was the best coat rack I ever had.
But I do sit in my grow and just talk/or breath in excitement at certain times. So I guess I'm doing atleast tha same, about three times a day atleast.
Sounds good.

Thanks!! Thats what I figured, it wasn't a lot but I figured I got a 50/50 shot it will be removed...good luck... not sure if you can rewash and filter out that wax paper...
it seems that you can filter out plant waxes... so... maybe?
So where is EVERYONE???? Seems like this thread has died out quite a bit...
Anyway, I told y'all about that nonsense with the wax paper, well that was the 2nd batch, my first batch buddered up before I could properly purge it into wax/shatter....So to kinda solve both problems I decided to winterize all of it! I had a half bottle of this stuff called Kleen Xrtact which was marketed and sold to extract the same way you do with Everclear. It is essentially just pure ethyl alcohol, like 200 proof....I got it all dissolved/emulsified in the alcohol and it is now in the freezer. This is my first time doing the winterizing process and I am a lil nervous. I never weighed the trim so I am not sure how much product I started with but it is only like a 14gram extraction tube and I did 2 runs. After purging most of the stuff out I ended up with about 7 grams of concentrate. I don't have a Buchner funnel or any fancy/useful stuff like that so now I have 2 things to try and figure out how to rig up. First is clearing out enough room on a shelf in my freezer to be able to fit another mason jar with a funnel on top of it so that I can set it to drain thru the funnel and unbleached coffee filter whilst closed inside the freezer. Then to try and get the best and most stable purge going I have to try and get a pyrex dish to be suspended in a warm water bath being held at like 95 degrees and let it purge for a day or so. If I cannot get the dish to stay suspended in the water and instead have it touching the bottom of the outer dish holding the water then I will have hot spots that get way above 95......Time for some heavy internet searching and Myguyvering....I'll keep y'all posted!!!
Pretty sure this thread will continue to be quiet until the main man returns .

@Lazerus00 lets play a game called summon the missing .:; tag those unheard from in the last couple of weeks.
Is that two 315s or two 630s?630w LEC getting a performance check. 3 days in I see increased resin production in finishing plants. I wouldn't believe it if someone told me, but I'm looking at it. I'll snap some better photos soon, but I think I may have found the upgrade I want. At 750 per fixture though it'll be a gradual upgrade.
its 2 315s in one hood w/ the ballast built into the hood....yes 750 includes ballast......i believe so anywatIs that two 315s or two 630s?
Does the 750 include ballast? Where is the Ballast?
Sorry to barrage you, thanks in advance
Cheers
Oh and nice freakin cola, damn that thing is huge
So wait, did you just put the lec up?
Two 315w bulbs in one hood, 630w total. The ballasts are in the hood (sweet!).Is that two 315s or two 630s?

that cola is one half of the African Haze I have going. And yes, I've had the LEC in place for 3 or 4 days now. It's hanging in the sativa room with an HPS.Oh and nice freakin cola, damn that thing is huge
