Anyone know the diff between the Pro-Mix BX that comes in the white wrapping and the one that comes in the dark brown wrapping??? The one with the brow says "PREMIER" on it but I have no idea what that means

@Ned Kelly Those are both excellent, useful and practical ideas!! Nice!! Turning negative to positive is always easier said than done too. I believe you just did a fine job at that; fine job indeed! You'll have to post pics of the garden too

@Lazerus00 their website has the breakdowns for the mixes. HP and BX are the classics, but they have others. BX has less perlite and some vermiculite. HP has more perlite and no vermiculite. They've changed their labels, so not sure which one you mean.

Not sure if they are really new or I just have never seen them but check these out. Its made by Hyper Fan, the people who make the really nice and really quiet blue inline fan?? Well they made another 6in fan and it's a stealth version. Its still just as powerful as their regular 6in fan and has a remote but the fan is built inside of what looks like one of those duct mufflers to help damping the sound. I have no need for something like this bc noise is not an issue but if I was trying to grow inside of an apartment or another similar sitch then I could see the use....Anyway just thought y'all might be interested!

Awfully quiet round here last night....Anyways I was just having a discussion with people about beans and the argument was that if a breeder is charging over $150 for a pack of beans, should you be able to find a keeper in 1 pack. My stance was that yes, if a breeder has tested and worked his "strains" then fuck yes I feel I deserve to find 1 keeper in a $150 pack. Some other guy (who shall remain nameless) was talking about a new drop from JJ of Chem something or another and how the packs were gonna be $300+ and how he feels its completely fair to have to go thru 2 or 3 packs to find 1 keeper! FUCK THAT!! Its not even about being cheap, its about how shitty that is. 1 in 30+ beans??? Shit I could find a keeper going thru my hermie beans....I understand if a breeder tells you right upfront they are untested like Gage Green Group does with some of their limited releases, ya know, thats ok. If I am having to go thru that many beans I feel its only fair to be charging like $50 per pack....

Whatta y'all think??

Depends on your definition of a keeper . As a mum for cloning yes . As parents for a breeding project probably not . U have to way up the rarity of the genetics on offer as well . I do agree that 300 a pack is pushing the cart a little two far . Lol

Your right, I didn't take into consideration what a particular person might consider or want a keeper for, or even what necessarily defines a keeper....I guess if your too cool for school you might have to go thru 10 $10,000 packs to find a decent plant...hahahahahaha

yeah i think 300 a pack is getting crazy and i wont ever pay that.too many good beans to be had in the 70 to 100 range.but hey if jj can get that and i think he always sells out right away good for him.imo if you need to pop 30 to find a keeper that line needs to be dropped from the gene pool lol

I just popped a pack of REG seeds and am down to the last 1.. I don't think its even a keeper.. FUCK.
I had 1 cut of this forever and it tends to Hermie.. so been trying to find a new cut and not having luck...

Maybe I will get lucky..

PS< I guess that is why its worth spending the cash on a KNOWN cut and just buying a clone.

i hear what your layin down but fem seeds make that easier and f1 is much dif than f6.problem is all these guys putting out untested f1.
