Keep it simple just use water any were from 4-7days before harvest - don't worry about plant issues because it will take a few weeks for the plant to respond to your additivites - then it will be too late you would have harvested already - Peace --- just remember once you see a plant issue you are all ready 2 weeks behind in fixing it !So my plants always have been having a dark complexion with their leafs. Along with some other discoloration, which you will find in my post history.
I started adding calmag because of the yellowing and burning of the edges, but this included some Nitrogen. Where the dark leafs would say that I have to much N already. I have been working with the GHE tripart Flora series. First at 1:1:1. The last 2 solutions were at the recommend 1:2:3.
So the last waterchange I didn't add any calmag, beside of what's in the tripart. Because the yellowing/burning didn't improve with calmag, I thought that wasn't it, and layed off the calmag.
This water change was 3 days ago. Now I see that the burning gets worse, and spreads more up the plant! But more importantly, my EC is rising! Before, I increased my EC and noticed that the sweetspot was 1.1 last week. And my new solution was only 1.0 when I changed the water. After 3 days, it increased to 1.1, which shouldn't be happening.
My pH has been getting more stable, instead of rising. Which should tell me that they aren't taking up nutrients, like they normally do(?)
Should I flush them with pH balanced RO water for 2 days? Or Add calmag now?
Edit: oh yeah, last waterchange I also added pro-bloom. And I'm currently in week 4 of flower. Growth seems not to have slown down.
The EC went from 1.0 to 1.1 and then even 1.2 in 3 days. I'm afraid that I have to flush. Also the person above, is giving advice for soil, i think?Keep it simple just use water any were from 4-7days before harvest - don't worry about plant issues because it will take a few weeks for the plant to respond to your additivites - then it will be too late you would have harvested already - Peace --- just remember once you see a plant issue you are all ready 2 weeks behind in fixing it !
Next grow will have a diary. I made a new post because I wanted to get some traction.so i don't see any chat history and that's because you created a new post instead of going back to the old post that had all the conversations.
This is why its a good idea to create a diary and keep filling it so members can follow.
i don't want to say im experienced but i know a thing or two. I've grown in soil, dwc and learning rockwoolNext grow will have a diary. I made a new post because I wanted to get some traction.
You have experience with hydroponics. How long do you flush when having a lock out? And does is decrease my harvest? I'm in week 4 of flower atm.
I will take some pics when the lights come on in 5h.i don't want to say im experienced but i know a thing or two. I've grown in soil, dwc and learning rockwool
What are you growing in and what nutrients area you using. do you have any pictures of the trichomes?

Why do you think that I"m close to harvest? Person above also asked for a photo of the terpenes. I'm in week 4 of flower. 4-5 more weeks to go.Good Evening FroSty;
I personally choose not to flush prior to harvest. Mainly because I try find a balance between a hot tank (too many nutes) and large buds, by keeping my ppm below 1000 (or as close as possible). With my approach, i gain in flavor and general quality, what i give up in size. IMHO
Last year I was having the same problems you are having now. I worked with @logic & @Aqua Man along with a couple of other members to really fine tune and scale my nutes (i'm still working on it really). My biggest adjustments were the addition of a T-5 and a new CalMag mix (2 mixes actually) that were 2.5:1 (and higher) and one of them contained a buffer. Most importantly a full dose only raises your ppm of RO to around 265-300 with ZERO Nitrogen. I now put the S*it in all my water (for the plants that is.... including top-off).
Lets start with your CalMag & PH. What brand is your CalMag? and do you know the ratio of Ca to Mag? (should be at least 2:1) Logic and I discovered that the majority of CalMag is way, way too weak.
How often do you add nutes and in what quantities? The reason for asking this close to harvest is to try and determine IF you need to flush. If you have been running "hot" for the entire grow, I would suggest you continue adding just RO as your top-off until you decide to harvest. This will lead to my next question.
what are you using to buffer your RO water against drastic PH swings?
and last; why are you adding tap water to your RO water? (more curious than anything important).
Happy Growing

Then how do I flush them out off lockout?! You tell me something not to do without an explanation of why, nor giving me an alternative?1.1 is already a pretty damn low ec for mid flower. How much light is on them?
I dont worry about ph rise too much in rockwool, infact I expect it in flower.
Also, DO NOT GIVE THEM PLAIN RO WITH FLORAKLEEN FOR 2 DAYS. That is just asking for disaster in hydro.
Why I think they are locked out?in hydroponic there is no flushing, this ain't no soil.
I don't know GH products so i can't really give any advice on what's what. also, your plant looks good and healthy., Not sure why you think its on lockout?
this is a chart i use to stabilize my rez.
Jesus you're salty. I'm not sure why anyone would want to help you at this point. Figure it out yourself. Why I think they are locked out?
Again,,,, do you readmy posts??? Like seriously?!
He asks me why I think I'm having a lockout, RIGHT UNDER a comment where I explain that my EC increases 0.3 in 24H and my plants aren't drinking. You guys are just fucking with me, right?Jesus you're salty. I'm not sure why anyone would want to help you at this point. Figure it out yourself.
