Wow was unaware and now wish someone who has access to proper labs would run run through some tests and make sure there is no opiate/opiode or any other poison in there

Im pretty sure its safe to say the only thing in those patches are whats listed on the ingredients.. Anything past that specially anything that can harm you if not listed would cause the finical collapse of that company via law suits.

Not to mention opiates/opiodes are expensive wouldn't really make sense. Giving something that could cause a patient to overdose not really good business practice lol

They do have a website and seem somewhat professional Im not sure these were made in someones kitchen or not but.. I made my bho on my back deck and not in a lab.. Its still medicine when i get done purging it tho..

My marijuana is not sourced from a govt. lab nor is any big pharm overseeing how my medications grown.. But its still medical marijuana...

I have had alot of experience with transdermal patches . have one on right now ... they are normally worn in a fatty area..most likely so as not to go into your body to fast..this patch sug u put right on a venous area.... probably because it doesn't have alot of cannabis infused in it...so u get the full affect ..and only good for 12 hrs....my experience with my father having prostrate cancer was the more weight he lost the faster it absorbed into his body and started overdosing him. eventually leading to me demanding him off of and a liquid administered..of course this was morphine.. but all depends how and where and dosage in product... I am sure for a normal person trying to relieve pain its helpful ..my personal experience and Mrs N...we both had bad experience with medibles recently ...fancy packaging doesn't mean its safe... all I am saying is tread lightly ...its a exciting time in the medical marijuana future but it needs proper testing ...I am all for natural and why I grow my own meds organic..TransDermal is a effective way of administering medication but there are alot of factors involved .. I for one have no idea how u can effectively fiqure out how to continually say all products have the proper amount of CBD or THC always in a product thats for the pro's to fiqure out... It is a awesome idea Hope they are successful ...that alone should bring the price down ...

True edibles can be a tricky bitch, For me they never have worked but ive heard for some there just too much.. Even if you made your own @ home you still have the issue of did that 1 drop you applied contain TOO much thc? not enuff CBD? ect..

Gotta give these guys credit they do have a very innovative product, and assuming its safe in all regards w/ the exception of the price tag i think its a great product for those who benefit from that type of therapy. But i do agree we need transparency on medications.. ALL of them.

Agree.... research Seattle animal mj patches around a yr ago someone patented them could be the same co... I personally having one kidney cannot even filter out cranberry juice ..so a dangerous way of administrating medicine ..obviously... M

I just want reply to a few things said here.

IMHO
Mary's Medicinals makes a very consistent and safe product. I'm impressed with this, far beyond some companies making extracts, especially cannabinoid specific. After a horrible experience with a local company making RSO (tears) out of the trim off the floor, I think this is better.

In my own experience I have taken many medications including cannabis via transdermal. I have a opioid patch on right now. I dab for breakthrough pain. It works better than a patch, but that's not what patches are for. They are for long term use, to build a level of a certain drug in your system. It takes awhile for some drugs, shorter for others. The patch I have on limits my cluster headaches to maybe a couple a week, but doesn't touch the ripped tendons and lack of cartilage in my knees.

PM me for compassionate pricing.

I would not tell anyone else what to do but i am 100% with medusa on the edible/transdermal thing,They hit me(40 yr smoker) like a ton of bricks, nausea, spins etc and it is just not controllable at all,NO THANKS.I beleive each persons tolerance to them is different so it is impossible to make a 1 size fits all product and the people marketing them can only guess at what they are putting out,il stick to smoking!
Its too bad really because what a great way to medicate without encroaching on other peoples right to not be around the smoke or in places its not really acceptable.

Would placement make a different? Ie placing it over an area with high subcutaneous fat, so as to slow the absorption.

lmao, wtf? :p
im like the light wieghtest low tolerance person I know. I cant believe this patch would be harmful to anyone. I cant hardly even eat a crumb of medible without getting skyhigh..and my brain catching on fire.
Anywayz I will honestly let you know what happens to me as I gladly test each and everyone of them. :D
I had no idea these lil patches were so controversial. lol. I could image one day having to wear them all over my body as my tolerance builds up. that would be funny. one on my forehead, 2 on my cheeks, neck and every where.. And then everyone would call me "Patch" lol:headphone:

@Medusa OMG!That's a terrific idea M! in fact im going to an interview today for a topless Barista coffee shop/Pot shop JOB! and I am going to wear the patches on both nipples as pasty's. Im hoping my innovative outfit and display of my knowledge of a cutting edge new product is enough to win them over. Wish me luck M!:D
@fishwhistle What a compliment! thanks FishY! I finished the flag painting so if you would like it for $420 it s yours I also have other drawings I can display for you and im willing to negotiate. :D
@urban1026835 4 sure! yeah I do trades sometimes.. like a need a Secret jardin dR 8x 4 right now and I would trade any of my art for that. lol Thanks for the girly support too. Im just a rookie in the shadows of Medusa and the others on the farm but look up to them so very much and they are always inspiring me.:D:D

I feel like dosing and release rates can so so tricky with transdermals, and I really feel like more work and research needs to be out in to sublinguals. Oral and buccal bioavailability is a lot more straightforward than transdermal. Easier to properly dose and not like edibles where they try and cram 300 mg. into a Hershey's Kiss or something like that. Plus, there needs to be more research done on the effect of long-chain polymers and their effects of cannabinoids. Like the ones used in transdermal patches. Sublingual strips can be made so much more simply with modified starches and algaes and using whole-plant cannabis extracts making a more "whole-plant" medicine (maybe?). Dunno, just my two cents but it seems like transdermal patches can be a bit tricky and are (like opioid transdermal patches) perhaps best only for a very specific type of patient/user.
