Have noticed if you dont do things the farms way your gonna get slack but ignore them do your thing thats working for you. People are slow to progress with the science
I don't think that's necessarily true, at any given time, there's so many different methods happening in so many different set ups and climates, it's impossible that everyone do things the same way... and that was part of the point about blanket statements being potentially dangerous.
I think the issue arises when the basic accepted best practices are ignored or challenged, such as watering practices... and that's probably because we see sooo many growers having issues due to not having the basics down, watering, environment, etc.
We are all passionate about growing, that's why we're here... and it's easy to get upset if you see someone giving advice that you (someone who has much experience) know is likely not correct, or is out of context, or doesn't apply to that particular grow situation... to someone new that doesn't know better, that may take the advice immediately and harm thier grow even further. We all need to remember to have respect and couth when possible... I know I've had my moments as everyone has, as you well know lol. Some people on here just rub other members the wrong way, which is bound to happen with such a diverse group. I don't like everyone in real life, definitely won't like everyone on a digital platform lol. No one is trying to be a grow nazi or anything, we just want everyone to succeed and get sufficiently baked from thier results.
