no.....they work synergisticallythough if u get mag def cal is soon to follow that is why in the same bottle??
in all truth I was using foxfarm and keep getting death so over the years I got sick of it and people talked me In to organic bc of no salt not im banging my head on the wall trying to figure this crap out so I went from not knowing what was going on to being lost and not knowing what is going on
I don't care what line of nute I use as long as its good so far im super happy with my growth with earth juice that is why im not sure whats going on people keep coming at me saying I need to do this in that but if u looked at the pics I posted yesterday what is wrong with the plants no yellow or drooping I sent pics showing how happy I am with it and now im freaking bc I am being told im doing it wrong still
Would recommend a flush with caution. Sometimes a flush can do more harm than good, but if you are sure its a lock out then it could be the PH. Water one of the affected ones until you get about 20% runoff, then check what the PH of the runoff is. It's one thing adjusting the PH of the water/feed before it goes in, that's a must, but its the root zone that is really important here. If the PH reads too high or low on your runoff, it means you have some buildup somewhere near the bottom of the pot (assuming you're growing in soil/coco. I would flush heavily with PLAIN PH adjusted water for a few days then start feeding again at half strength and build up to your normal schedule over two or three feeds. PH is always the first thing to check. If your using composition (A+B) mixes, make sure you're mixing the A into the water properly first, then B, or nutrients can bind together and create a 'salt' that your plants cannot drink, as they won't break down in the water and thus become unavailable to the ladies. Hope this helps!
did you read the article that I posted from maximum yield?wow u just called me a hoe feel the love around here
your medium (promix) has plenty of calciumThe bottom line is plants need a steady supply of water-soluble calcium and magnesium to reach their true genetic potential
is what u sent me said so still don't use calmag???
Actually if you get salts built up in coco and need to flush use a mild nute flush. Maybe at 1/2 to 1/4 strength. You dont want to flush with plain water in coco. IMHO......*** IGNORE THE ABOVE ***
Please ignore the ' advice' I wrote above. I have since learned from a far better and knowledgeable farmer that A: You need to feed with EVERY watering in coco. Read about cation exchange and read about coco if you don't know already. Flushing is fine if you have a major salt buildup in your medium, but nutes should be reapplied as soon as possible. B: When I mentioned about testing the runoff, this is called a slurry test. But really all you're doing is testing the quality of waste flushing from your medium and is not a good indicator of the PH of your medium. I didn't know either of these facts were untrue at the time of writing. Just thought I'd say that in case anyone tried this and ruined their crop!
fallout is when elements fall out of suspension and become unavailable to the plantyou always add calcium first because if you add it after the other nutes it will cause fallout
what do u mean fallout this one I never heard of so Im not sure what order I been putting it in so now ill make sure to put in first
so add the salt in then the earth juice??
ewc maybe .....you add ewc?I do have mirco is why I ask unless mircoblast n ewc don't have micro life
