Wow you transplant fast!!! I'd wait way longer than that...but then again I'm no master ;)Yeti OG f3's
all popped up within 72 hours of planting....I just plant direct into the soil...no soaking, paper towels,scuffing,etc....

I'll transplant 9 of these today..one mutant seedling is getting culled out.....
As soon as those seedlings were up the tap root is already hitting the bottom of the cup........Wow you transplant fast!!! I'd wait way longer than that...but then again I'm no master ;)
So that doesn't imply for cuttings I presume? As soon as those seedlings were up the tap root is already hitting the bottom of the cup........
ideally those seedlings would have been transplanted a day or two ago....allowing plants to get root bound in organic soil is never good.....
Growing seedlings for any length of time in a keg cup just causes them to stress......
Ya I'm not one of those guys either I just wait a little longer than you but only because I'd be scared to damage that tap root...I'm guessing lots of water gets that thing as solid as possible for the transplant. Well good luck with them Yetis I hope they're drama free ;)Cuts don't like being root bound either...it can cause them to lose momentum, and vigor.....that can usually never be fully recovered
by harvest
Just because you can grow a large plant in a keg cup,it sure doesn't mean it's going to achieve it's full potential.......
My gardening style is all about getting the full potential out of all phenos.....not seeing how long I can keep something alive in a keg cup
There's a big difference between plants surviving, and thriving.........

Makes sense...Now, im about to toss all the plants I left in cups too long!:banghead::bag:Cuts don't like being root bound either...

no watering them heavily would make transplanting harder...They are transplanted with normal soil moistureYa I'm not one of those guys either I just wait a little longer than you but only because I'd be scared to damage that tap root...I'm guessing lots of water gets that thing as solid as possible for the transplant. They are definitely productive True GDamn gonna be some beasts in there!! looking forward to what smells they throw off...looks like some yielders for sure
Papa they're getting fat now......how're they doing waayne?
I hope you're able to grab some on the next drop bro!Real nice...Sorry Ive been under a rock it seems. Hope to get my hands a few of these in the next drop. Real cool to see them in action.
I've liked pheno #2 from the start Oom pah pahI could not agree more ^^^
Looks like you got the Chemdog 91 leaning pheno in that #2 . I hope she reeks up a storm for you. It must be quite a hodgepodge of smells in your room .
Tbh I had my eye on # 2 from early on .
:)
soser you gotta transplant them when they need it,to keep them healthy and happy, and yeah,it take space, time ,and resources.....@waayne - copy clones for the strains your running sir , how are they kept ? thou your statement makes perfect sense i sense a big space issue on most parts trying to do this thou I do despise when a cup is root bound and needs watering frequently you can kinda tell its not good and def can't be anything but stressful to the plant
What's up Venom!church, nice pheno bro what smells is she giving ? any blueberry smells ?
Man I use a 50-50 mix of Black Gold and Black Gold seedling starterwhat's up waayne, no doubt this loompa gear will live out its full potential...i can't wait for that late-flower nug porn, though what you've got up already is nothing short of softcore
what medium do u use to germ seeds?
ken I used black party cups once around Halloween ,and nothing came up,so maybe BOG is onto something..lolMakes sense...Now, im about to toss all the plants I left in cups too long!:banghead::bag:
and im going to take better care of my seedlings!
Someone should make 16oz smart pots...with velcro..for easy removal and reuse :)
Edit too add; I found some 24oz "Blue" party cups...Gonna use those for my next batch of beans
I have noticed you use the Blue ones;)
I saw Bog write about preferring them too. :p
respect that's Roots Organic potting soil in the camo bagsStellar work Waayne...I really appreciate the detailed pics :) Btw what are the bags on the left of the nute pack. They look like either roots organic or 707?
