Don’t trip man, I did that when I remolded the laundry room in my fixer upper me and my wife were living in and I wasn’t smoking haha. I moved the washer and dryer and everything back in but didn’t put the drain in for some reason and my wife decided to do a load and all of a sudden we’re like what’s that water noiseSo an interesting night for sure. Come home after being gone for 7 hours, just to find my laundry room flooded. Fml...
I shouldnt smoke and do anything anymore in all reality, just keep fuckin shit up lately. Put draino in all my drains today, washed it down 30 minutes later, and forgot to put the drain hose to my washer back in the drain. Then i put a load of laundry in and left for the day. Gonna smoke a bong or 2 and go tf to bed. What a day.

Yeah I’m sure it won’t do a lot of damage, it would have to be submerged for some time. Maybe fans in the crawl space if your worriedHaha i feel like everyone does something similar in their life.
Im only upset because it went out into the hallway, under my subfloor and i cant get that dry, and i just redid the floors a few months back. So yeah like 3000 dollars and 2 weeks of my time. No biggie tho, this shithole is going up for sale next spring. Im moving into an actual house.
Yeah i put in laundry, went outside, took the wheels and tires off my old car, then came back inside and sat around for an hour and then left for 7 hours. So like 9 or 10 hours it sat on the floor, running into the walls and subfloor. I have a fan and heater in there now but idk.Yeah I’m sure it won’t do a lot of damage, it would have to be submerged for some time. Maybe fans in the crawl space if your worried
That’s good man. I’m sure it’s fine. 5 ply plywood and laminate flooring, which is like a giant sponge. That’s good man. I’m sure it’s fine. What type of flooring?
Depending on how long the water was submerged the flooring should have kept the water out. So it would be mostly by the bottom plate. I think what your doing will be just fine5 ply plywood and laminate flooring, which is like a giant sponge.
Yeah it all looks to be okay. Thankfully my laundry room was an absolute shit show, and all the clothes on the floor managed to soak a lot of it up actually. My wife and I suck at maintaining the laundry.Depending on how long the water was submerged the flooring should have kept the water out. So it would be mostly by the bottom plate. That’s funny, at least that helped some. I busted out my wet vac and was freaking out and pulled up my laminate planks to check and the middle was bone dry. Just the edges by the bottom plate was wet and that’s fine if it drys out and doesn’t stay wet. A lot of the framing of houses 2x4, 2x6 and sheathing get rained on during the build but is fine bc it gets dried outYeah it all looks to be okay. Have you ever put eggs in a pot to boil then smoke a joint and not remember the eggs? It was the smoke alarm and the black burning, smoking smelling stinking eggs and pan handle that made me remember......Ya........I've been there too.So an interesting night for sure.
