Hickory is beautiful, CM.

So... I've had myself a pretty nice little headache going since the Monday before last. Yesterday I just couldn't take it anymore, I went to the doc. For the first time in my headachy life I've been diagnosed with migraines. I've never had a headache last so long, fortunately it never became severe. Got a script for Imitrex, which I'd taken back in the early or mid-90s for undiagnosed migraine, can't remember how well it worked or how it made me feel. I didn't have health insurance back then, so once I used up my supply that was it.

In the meantime! I need to figure out how to place a multi-variation listing on eBay so I can streamline my offerings. Or somethin' like that.

Been fucking COLD overnight, and then the low to mid 70s during the daytime. Some November! Huh?

And I've been smelling pee around my desk ever since I got home. Bought one of those LED UV flashlights because my sniffer isn't good enough to find the actual location of said pee.

No headaches of the medical variety, just those of the growing variety... and thanks to you all, I'm counting my blessings!

Time for dat chipper rental, get the biggest one you can and chip chip chip... well worth the investment.....just don't attempt to free up with foot and get sucked in and chipped up like that one fella in Denver few years back have done tons of tree work and firewood. would do estimates hire a tree guy licensed and insured, to do the work above ground, I would clean up, chip haul away did real well on that and firewood.
Don't understand how anybody can not find work if they really want to work.
I would go door to door with a flyer giving estimates, for tree work, hauling, handyman, got on good with the seniors word spread, got lots of work 25 buck hr. honest work seniors loved it, make a list will be there.
Also that's how I met my wife....
I see there mam that tree needs to be removed for the roof, branches rubbing on roof...Lots of trimming to do.. she hired me and the rest is history.....
Got her to sell her paid for house, quit her high paying job and get the hell out of the city and move to country and be my best friend.....
12 years, gone by fast...Loving every minute...

Acetaminophen+caffeine used to work for me. Ibuprofen and icing usually works for me, icing only if I'm puking. The imitrex + ibuprofen FINALLY did it for, I woke up for the first time in almost two weeks without a headache. I fucking HATE headaches. I almost want to go to see my old doc who told me I couldn't self-Dx migraines and tell him, guess what, ya asshole! I'm migraine, ya shitstick! I mean, come ON. Sensitivity to light (sometimes it becomes blinding), to touch (my skin feels as though I'm literally on fire, yet freezing at the same time--it's indescribable to tell the truth), puking my guts out as in til I'm dry heaving, unable to function, what did he want? Never felt compelled to make the Dx for me himself. I really like my new doctor, he REALLY listens to me.

I've never heard of this drug for migraine. If the Imitrex proves less effective then I'll be asking about it. I don't want to have to go as far as botox injections in my skull.

Let's hope that's all it is, because I can tell you that nothing ruins a vacation better than a nice, fat motherfucker of a migraine. Since she's a nurse I'm sure she's all too familiar with the typical remedies, too.

So, what have I got planned today..? I've gotta figure out where to get the plastic envelopes to mail clothing because I'm gettin' bids on my eBay stuffs! Kind of exciting, I usually offer a service, not so much a product. This is new for me. :)

The weekend is here!!! Mixing soil, transplanting, burping jars and watching football. Hoping nobody else gets kicked of the team for picking on a 300lb lineman. Feeling real sorry for the guy....destroyed the continuity of the team. Not that I am a big Miami fan but come on bitch.....man up. Will also be trying to find new health ins....just got canceled...

I've been reading that story, and it sounds like that lineman handled himself in a classy manner. I've been reading subsequent stories on workplace bullying, and it's definitely a problem. Rookie players shouldn't be footing the bill for established players, and no one should be made to feel less valuable because they've got a brain and a degree. Seems to me, actually, that this guy took the hard way out, not the easy way out. He violated his contract, which was worth hundreds of thousands, what's he gonna do now?

Knew I would stir some shit by posting that. One thing is for sure....he isn't going back to the team...not welcome. Don't get me wrong I am NOT condoning bullying but in football you have to be willing to look the guy next to you in the eye and know that he has got your back. His heart and soul weren't in it and he needed to get back on the program or go away. And he did.

What I really appreciate about what he did is that it opened up the whole conversation. I read a story about a professor who was targeted, along with many others. I myself suffered some rather extreme bullying when I was pregnant with my first boy, ranging from verbal harassment and threats, to actual vandalism to my vehicle while I was working. I got absolutely NO relief from management, and when I refused to sign the post-Prop 65 papers, the situation became absolutely intolerable.

Sea I was diagnosed with cluster headaches several years ago, just one of my ailments. Although this med didn't work for my clusters it has helped several people I know that suffer from normal migraines. Look up Sprix. Its a spray that works much faster than pills. The only thing I've found that even comes close to helping when my clusters kick in is pure O2 if I can get to it as soon as I feel one comin. Hope this helps man... I know how headaches can effect quality of life. MGG

As far as the whole "bullying" football player....I admit I don't watch pro football anymore. I was a huge Cowboys at one time, but decided to boycott the Pros when they cried and whined they weren't makin enough $$$ and were threatening to strike several years ago. That was it for me. I only watch college ball now. BUT, from what I've read/heard, and the interviews with the other players on the Dolphin team, it sounds to me like the rookie and the other guy were friends and this type of banter was common place between the two, then all of a sudden the rookie decided he didn't like it and saw he could make a big deal out of it? Hell if I know for sure what happened but there are some sitches where putting extra stress on an individual makes him into what is expected by the group...ie the breaking down and rebuilding of soldiers in basic and advanced training in the military. May seem harsh to some, but just part of life if ya wanna be part of something bigger than yourself IMO. MGG

Got to disagree with you this time pute,Watched former coach Tony dungy on am TV this morning explaining why he passed on richie incognito right out of school, can you guess why?Racism, bullying, hazing, behavioral problems,If anyone is going bye bye its gonna be him.
His accuser walked from 3 mil a year,he wouldnt have done that without a plan of attack and very good lawyers,I also read they have incognito on voice mails calling him a ni**er and making threats of violence along with a shitload of people going back to junior high who will testify he did the same thing to them.
Just because you are a big cornfed football player does not give you the right to fuck with other people or try to force your will on them,I hope the NFL uses their money to make an example of him instead of protecting him but we all know its about the money not whats right so i wont hold my breath, lol.

back in the day as handyman was hired for sod install. Went to a nursery and they had some sod that was old for free 3 pallets. I was loading it on out back and out came this employee with carts full of bedding plants as well as indoor plants. They were throwing away $500.00 easy worth of plants which with a little TLC would thrive.
So I loaded up and off I went. Could not believe how many plants they tossed out daily. I thousands of dollars worth for about a year and my yard and inside house looked like a jungle. Rather than sell I charged to make gardens with all my customers made out well.
Then one day I was rummaging thru dumpster and the owner saw me and told Me I was trespassing and shoplifting, cops came talked my way out of it they chained it shut there after...
Was in Denver last month and drove by a big job I did and it still looked good after 15 years

Hmmm....wondering why the team is backing Incognito and of course the media is backing Martin and trying to make racism a part of the issues as well.

Very good question pute, the money for the media is in blowing it up and the money for the team is in covering it up maybe?
