CORN!!!! gunna harvest corn. Had some last nite and it was totally DEEElicous!!!
Also milk 8 goats, grind and mix feed and feed it , water gardens and livestock, collect eggs, was, box, deliver eggs, make cheese, just another great day living the farmers dream.......

Corn, harvest our corn, then milk goats, grind and mix chicken feed, feed chickens and goats, collect, wash box eggs, make cheese from fresh raw goat milk, water gardens, shuck corn freeze, have a nice brunch then seduce wife.....nap...Hell ya... Living the dream.....

when you shuck corn to freeze do you part boil it first before you freeze it ?

You've gotta make creamed corn with that. The local restaurant we like had it on the menu, literally corn with cream, it was so fucking good. And then they took it off the menu! (their menu is very seasonal)

I've got the same plan, this baby right here is my first ever harvested corn. And I'm soo proud, boiling her right now :D I don't eat veggies too much but my old lady loves em!

All my corn died this year.. No corn 4 me this year... I'm gunna have 2 steel some of Aligee's corn this year<< I know his corn is way over the fence by now..LOL

I have a question regarding corn: so I have a bunch of ants that have started herding aphids on one of my ears of corn. It's a smaller plant with only one ear. Is there anything I can do about this to save it, or should I just toss it to the compost pile??

Im no expert but, I would leave it...
if you toss it , the ants will find another plant to farm the aphids on.

Great year for corn in Colo, that is if the hail didn't get it. I don't have enough room for corn. But what I have seen is over 8' tall. Good year for veggie garden even after the hail storm here a couple of days ago. Had some loss but coming back well. Amazing how much better of a gardener I am now that I have a hobby in the basement.

75 2 cup vacuum sealed bags of corn for us, still got a few from last years as well still good as fresh....Gunna make cream corn later.......

Making tea and was gonna take cuts, move two into flower and give tea to all. Decided to wait one more day. Soooo....invited brother over to fry his marble. Love to shoot pool with him "the smoker he gets...the player he is".

Cleaning the house bachelor style. Clean the bathroom, clean the kitchen, hide everything else and clean sheets. Yall guys know what that means. giggity

I am finding great joy in not having my lab running at present, I wish I had the space for corn.

Just stoked that for the first time in a few years I get to play host instead of fielding questions about why they never come to MY house. My lab is sufficiently broken down and stored now people are allowed back inside.
