I would rather have some good sticky flowers but I don't know if that exists at a dispensary, every flower I have seen from a dispensary is way over dry.
My biggest problem is that most shatter turns into taffy at room temperature. I have tried Igati out of tabernash and although expensive where I went, it is absolutely stable at room temperature. The label even says no refrigeration is needed. I don't shop around for shatter much because I am constantly disappointed at the quality of affordable price ($20-$30/g), and I refuse to pay more than $40 unless it's very good. The shop I went to had this chroma stuff for $90 for a half gram medical. Nuts.
It's all warehouse crap weed and mexican bricks at every dispensary in the state. the only good and properly cured marijuana can be found on craigslist. It's rare to see more than one strain at dispensaries and they all smell like hay. Everyone uses illegal pesticides and pgr's and they spray all day every day, and even after harvest just to make sure the potency of the residual is high enough. Heck, if the thc content is low just call it high cbd!
Golden Barn's 'raw uncut' co2 oil has a wonderful non-sweet aroma, and there is no artificial sweet taste from pg. They have had issues with foreign made cartridges but those have mostly been resolved in my experience. They have a larger presence in the south metro/springs area. That's the only thing I need during the day at my office job. Unless you vape oil, it's difficult to pick out the typical marijuana smell that comes with vaporizing terpenes. Or something.
