Since there hasn't been shit for movies lately, and tv's about dead for a cpl months decided to start up netflix / House of Cards..

Not as bad as i was expecting it to be but not as GOOD as the reviews make it out.. dunno season 1 so far i'll keep going its worth watching when nothing else is on..

I absolutely love it. I love breaking down that 4th wall and engaging the audience in Francis Underwood's thoughts. I love how dirty it all is. I'm picking up The Gilded Age again, I need to finish this book.

But, now that our Amazon Prime is working flawlessly, I'm catching up on all seasons of Vikings. If Game of Thrones keeps up their current pace, I'll be watching something else on Sunday nights.

^ Books are Always the Best! ...The Biggest Example of that "imoe"is with the 3 Fantasy Novels by Phillip Pullman,i.e Northern Lights-The Subtle Knife-The Amber Spyglass! - All 3 Crammed into a 2 Hour Film Called the Golden Compass..
Still A Great Film Regardless of the Compression! ..Just Saying,and so Ive learnt to Watch the Screenplays BEFORE Entertaining the Book! "Happily" Find myself now NOT SAYING , "wheres THAT (Great) BIT" etc..

Watched "a little" of Darkside Witches las' night ... Eeeik!!! :D LOL.... Watch the first 5-10 minutes and you'll understand why i thought i "Put a Porno on" ..haha ..

I watched an amazing documentary tonight; ) most of you have probably already seen it but for those who haven't it's a must!!

It's called 'Culture High' on netflix or youtube, beware tho as this will most likely leave you feeling angred and betrayed, it's amazing how corrupt the world we live in actually is, right down to locking people up just to keep prisons full so revenues don't drop, it's a fucking joke!! Many times throughout the documentary I could feel myself filling up with rage due to the pure ignorance of the people that control wats right and wrong and illegal and legal!! One of the main reasons cannabis became illegal in the first place was due to risk of schizophrenia, well as it states in the documentary, cannabis use has become more and more popular since the 60s up until now which means more and more people should be getting diagnosed with schizophrenia but that's the not the case, cannabis does not cause schizophrenia, it can bring it out earlier in a person who already has it but that's in the 1% mark!! So based on that alone it voids the main reason it became illegal in the first place, it's all down to money and the sad thing is its killing people!! Pharmaceutical companies pushing new drugs and advertising them on tv etc, we don't have that hear the UK but it just shows that because you Americans don't have an nhs, pharmaceutical companies are cashing in on this and making an absolute fortune, $85 billion in profits last year it's a fucking joke!! Cannabis can and will replace a lot of the medicines that are out today and the cost of mass production will be a million times cheaper, Which in turn will make buying medication a dam site cheaper than it is now for the consumer, making life a shit load easier for any one that should need it!! I can't believe how blind we've been to allow things to get in such a state, if it wasn't for the internet we'd still be in the dark ages now, all this sharing of knowledge and information has brought us to this critical moment that were at today which is to decriminalise cannabis worldwide. Wat would of taken us 200 years to achieve we've done it in 10, all thanks to the Internet giving us the power to speak and be heard and not even the government can stop that ;) !!!

Il post a link to the said documentary below, if you've got netflix tho I'd suggest to watch it on there as qualities 100 times better!!!

If you've not seen it you NEED TO WATCH IT! !!

Well binged watched house of cards.. Good show, only downer if there gonna have sex scenes show me the tits!!!!!!!!

Now i go watch Selma...

Ive been enjoying silicon valley an hbo series about internet startup company. Quite humorous and the characters are perfect making you cringe with how awkward they can be.

Wel Selma kinda sucked.. so now im off to watch Mortdecai not really sure thats going to be any better but what the hell..

Unbroken:

Another WWII story about a national hero. Could be about an hour shorter if you ask me. Short srory way too extended. Since it is a biography some of the time could be actually dedicated to life after war. After all the guy did live to see 97 years of life and the war took 7 of them.

Poker Night:
a really good thriller with a twisted story after a long time

Maybe it would be different if you lived through that period. My mother, now 76 and Puerto Rican, cried during that movie, and this is a woman who does not cry. But then, she lived in the South for a period of years during school and such. She was the one who peeled my bathing suit bottoms down to show the man at the gas station that I was not, in fact, a high yellow child, but had whiter skin than that (I can easily tan to the point that some think I'm black, or pick a swarthy-skinned race) so that he would let me use the toilet.

For me Nightcrawler should have won best film oscar- really great film, very atmospheric so pick the right strain and you'll fill like you're in it.

To go more a little obscure I'd like to put Submarine out there, really funny and true to life coming of age story set in a small Welsh village. 8/10

Ok so i thought about the movie, Your right, It Would be different if i lived thru that time period, For me things are different now, Racism its self is different now, Still rampant but different, We don't have the in your face segregation issues and civil right atrocities like they did back then, Granted police brutality atm is fucking insaine but... side bar... Anyway I re thought the movie and i'll admit i only got thru 1/2..

It didn't SUCK as i first mentioned, It was just SLOW... I dunno the movie just moved along too slow..

I did watch american history X last night tho which got me thinking bout Selma and all that jazz.. (The dinner table scene has me torn, The Jewish boyfriends argument about riots / looting vs Edward nortons White racist View..) I hate to admit it but they both have valid opinions, I don't agree with one side or the other and form my own opinion but.. my 2 cents on that..

Anyway as far as mortdecai went, That movie fuckin sucked! Depp should stick to playing pirates ( why is he playing bulger in black mass btw? ) and paltrow should stick to her wack fitness blog bullshit and iron man cameos her acting sucks!
