The african black is a amazing strong sativa that yields very high and produces large tric's when I was offered the strain I thought it was what dj was talking about , however I have no way to know that the person who directed me not to claim that because we have no way to know that is a true " pioneer " of the seed bizz , he said we have no way of knowing if thats is what DJ was speaking of the strain has been in holland for 25 years and saying that opens you up to potential trolls .

It says alot about your character that your not claiming anything regarding lineage. Only that this african black is a very good resin producer and a great breeding tool.

Do you have any pictures, I would be interested if it had that Congolese structure.

ive been really into the black and white strains. Highgrade has strain called "Black Queen" (Zombie Black X Special White widow clone) The zombie black used in the cross came from Zombe Plateau, Malawi it can also be found in Liberia. It is a homozygous strain with massive resin build up if you allow it to fully mature. His new "Black Ice" (Black Queen) X (C-99) looks to be a real potent strain with lots of stable phenotypes. Anyone think this "Zombie Black" is by chance related to Black African?

What I gather from speaking to some of the old school growers in Northern California is that the Black African is supposedly from Congo, a Black Congo strain.

Interesting, so if the African Black has been in Holland for 25 years, how come we haven't seen it offered for sale?

Highgrade Seeds have some interesting strains, the Kona Gold sounds intriguing, he also has crosses of Panama Red, Acapulco Gold, Colombian Gold and Zombie Black to Widow, anyone tried any of those?

I notice that they claim the lineage of diesel is Mexican x Chemo, I speculated a while back that Chemdog might be chemo hybrid.

Anyways, anyone got any experience with highgrade seeds?

Well he says NYCD is (Mexican x Chemo) x Afghan/Hawaiian. Soma himself has no idea what the lineage of the bagseed mother he used to maker NYCD was. I'm guessing that Highgrade is assuming that it was an original Diesel bagseed and the original Diesel was just the Chemdog 91 cut renamed cos the NYC boys didn't like the name Chemdog. So what Highgrade is really saying is that Chemdog is Mexican x Chemo, I've thought the same thing myself before as have others. Maybe Highgrade knows something we don't or he's just speculating?

That Panama looks not bad, but it's been crossed to Widow so I'll pass, I'd be very interested in a proper pure Panama tho without any indica pollution.

I have the Angola x Banghi, Congolese and Senegalese from La Mano Negra plus some others I forget, they are in the 'don't grow until i can do them outdoors in Spain' pile.

I have his Purple Angolese and an Angola Verde also. They are in my don't grow until I can be sure I won't fuck them up pile. Way too valuable to take a chance with.

Hey hemp i've heard the owner of the site is kind of a dirtbag.. a "REZ" character if ya know what i mean.. i could be wrong though.. there's some red flags that go up though when looking at the site.. the description of black queen seems a little off too.. zombie black(malawi gold) which is a landrace sativa crossed to white widow which is mostly sativa also.. produces black queen??? which they describe as a heavy indica couchlock strain.. sounds a little quirky to me

Why have you not seen it offered for sale in Holland >
I would say that most folks in holland have not seen 25% of the genetics in the hands of certain pioneers in IN nl could be due to the fact that 80% of the genetics sold by most seed banks in holland were jacked from there Gene pools in the first place and most dutch growers would never grow landrace based genetics anyway because they are motivated by $ .
I have genetics from NL that have been maintained for 30 years that no one in NL has ever seen except for a very select few that can be counted on 1 hand .

Hygrade was a member of my site for years most of the gear on that site are from RMS genetics with the exception of the white family .
